Just purchased 2012 EXL-RES for 33,500. I live in No. Virginia but ended up doing business in Upstate NY! Paperwork Fed Ex back and forth overnight... seemless transaction. Sales woman is AMAZING to work with. PM me for name. She drove car to Albany airport to meet/drop off....but I know she also does a lot of business at Burlington,VT airport. Price: 33,500 (includes destination) Doc fees: 75 Tax: 1025 (VA) Honda Care: 1265 (I agreed to to this so I could roll into financing...) rather than go through Hyannis Port Honda.... 1.9% financing for 60 months.... Happy with transaction! FYI... tried initially to work with gal in WV (Urse) that others have talked about but found her to be unreliable. Quoted and negotiated with me but would never follow up.
Car_Man and other forum members: A local (Albany, NY area) dealer is advertising the following deal: 2011 Honda Pilot 4WD EX-L automatic transmission. $398 per month, 36 month lease, 12,000 miles per year and 15¢ per mile thereafter MSRP $36,375. $398 1st month payment plus $0 down payment in cash or trade equivalent. $0 security deposit. Total due at lease signing $398. Tax, title and registration additional. $595 acquisition fee. Total payments of $14,328 Residual value $20,733.75. Seems like a pretty good deal to me, no? Looks like the residual value is 57%, can you confirm Car_man? Also, assuming the money factor is .00145, as stated in some previous posts, and with the other info provided, I would think it would be possible to "back-in" to what the actual selling price that they are basing the lease payment on is, correct? If so, could someone tell me how I can do that? Thanks in advance!
In June I wanted to buy a CRV LX AWD in the Albany NY area. There are five dealers within a 30 mile range. I went to cars.com and got prices from all five dealers. Three were a little high about $21,766 + DMV fees. Another came in at $20,995 + DMV fees--which is less than dealer cost. In face, my deal was less that this figure. My suggestion to you is through Edmunds find all the Honda dealers within a distance that you would be willing to travel to to finalize a deal. Then go to a site like cars.com and see what price you can get from these dealers. If there are some differences in the prices, then you have some wiggle room to try and get the price even lower. I think the Edmunds TMV price is high. On truecar.com or similar site try to get a price as low as possible in the "great price" range.
EX 4dr AT is about 20.8-21k range for selling price . Subtract invoice value of AT!
Hi All-- Looking to buy a 2010 EX sedan with manual transmission. Anyone know how far below sticker they're going for? I'm in the Albany, NY area. Thanks!
