We picked up our New 2001 Silver Odyssey EX from Ganley Pontiac/Honda in North Olmsted, Ohio (Cleveland)on January 6th 2001. I live in NW New Mexico. Quite a drive from Cleveland. 6 months back I worked out a deal with Dave. My local dealer in NW New Mexico matched the Cleveland deal ($ 700 off MSRP), but strung me along selling my car to others who would pay full MSRP. I was really disappointed in the treatment I received from the NM dealer. After 3 months of being treated like I didn't matter as a customer from my local dealer, I called Dave up. He was willing to keep the same original deal. We did all the paperwork via Federal Express and Dave delivered as promised. I put $ 500 down on November 2nd, and the vehicle was in on December 16th, one day ahead of Dave's estimate. Total purchase price (excluding NM taxes), driven off the lot was MSRP ($ 26,400 + $ 440 Dest Fee + $ 50 doc fee + $ 20.50 temp tag & filings minus $ 700)or $ 26,210.50 Dave said demand was up, and he could no longer do $ 700. He did say $ 600 off MSRP for anyone I referred in and that he could discount extras. I can not say enough good things about a man who can sell me a car 1500 miles away from home. Things worked out for me on my long 3 week vacation. Good luck to the rest of you guys. By the way, I have put 1000 miles on the Odyssey and it runs great. No problems.
