Don't think so. I bought my brand new 08 EX-L (no nav) for 23.5K excluding licensing and tax on Jan 31, 2009. The CRV is selling well compared to other compact SUVs, and Honda knows that......Dealer is Paul Miller Honda in Caldwell, NJ.

I emailed about 15 dealers asking for their best price including all the fees, taxes, etc. Some of the dealers didn't respond at all, I received quotes ranging from $17,184 to $18,430. I chose the dealer with the lowest combined fees, Babylon Honda. Bronx Honda also appeared to be a good deal but they didn't have silver in stock. Paramus Honda was also very attractive because they had pretty competitive prices and a number of benefits for internet customers such as free key replacement....HOWEVER, at the end of the day I went with the lowest price. Here's from my bill of sale from Babylon Honda: 17,269.00 LX AT Civic (includes destination charges) 1,273.59 Sales tax 130.00 NY Registration Fees 67.50 Document Fee/Waste Tire Fee 18740.09 TOTAL INCLUDING TAX Quite a bit of variance in dealer fees. The information below is correct to the best of my knowledge. In cases where the dealership didn't respond about NY DMV fees, I used the highest quoted fee of $228, so the actual fee may be less. If you want to deal 2009 EX-L, and in NJ, here what I saw at other site ... ************************************** You don't need to wait! I was testing the waters last week, and the offer I received from my current dealer was $800 off sticker. I decided to play the game, and I emailed 12 other dealers in a 100-mile radius. 4 dealers didn't respond. 4 dealers said they are selling at MSRP - no discounts. 4 dealers offered discounts: $1,000, $800, $1,000 and $2,400 (Paul Miller Honda in Caldwell, NJ) I took the $2,400 discount to my current dealer (Mahwah Honda in NJ, they were not anxious to make this deal for others) and asked him to match it. He matched it and 24 hours later, I drove off in my new '09 Pilot. Completely unexpected, but I know a decent deal when I see one... **************************************

I just bought today a 08 honda accord EX V6 w/o the leather seats and navi.By the way this is in New Jersey and I added the deck lid spoiler also.No trade-in car. Car base price:$23,900.00 NJ sales tax:$1,673.00 Motor Vehicle Tire Fee in NJ:$7.50 *$1.50 per tire. Documentary Fee:$199.00 Registration/Title Fee:$360.00 TOTAL:$26,139.50 Is this a good deal or not? I bought the car from Paul Miller Honda in West Caldwell. Any inputs will be appreciated, thanks guys. :)

Hi, I have closed the deal for 4X4 EX for 22500 (24554 on road including Tax, paper work & MV etc..) including the destination charges in Caldwell, NJ with excellent financing rate...Today late afternoon I am going to take the delivery... Do let me know if its good deal.... Regards, Rishi
