Re: Honda Civic Sedan SI + Nav Quotes in ATL [tyrael]

If it helped at all I paid $21,000 even, not including Title or registration (we don't have tax in my State).' If I had wanted to hardball them I could have had the car OTD for $20,500. I wanted a car that day and figured I could take the $500 hit This was Autofair Honda in Manchester, NH for a 2008 Honda Civic Si. Shame it wasn't in the blue but the color is like a greyish gold, it's ok, very stealthy. The car runs like a dream.

Can anyone recommend Honda dealers in CT/RI/MA area that are easy to work with and are willing to give fair prices (invoice)? I'm in the market for a Fit/Civic/CRV, haven't decided yet....feel free to post or message me, thanks I can reccomend a dealer if you want to go up a bit from Mass. I'm up in NH and got a better than Edmunds TMV price on my Civic Si. Autofair Honda in Manchester, NH. The Internet sales guy I dealt with (Keith) was great! I can't speak for the others but I got invoice on the Civic LX, EX etc.. same for the Accord and the Fit. The CRV is a bit above invoice as is the Civic Si. I was happy with the deal and have had great service from them. There is also Bernardi Honda in Natick MA. I was going to buy a Fit from them but they are just too far and I need a local dealer to maintain the car.

I buy my cars in NH as I'm a Maine resident, but get screwed royally when I register it in Maine .Type S out the door$ 23,650.00 w/Fogs and spoiler.I then paid $1,183.00 sales tax and Maine Excise tax of $486.00 add that up . I used to live in Mass so I know where you're coming from. The Town Clerk hit me up for $549 for plates tho! You could have gotten a better deal if you bought over at Autofair Honda in Manchester. They seem to be a volume dealer so they sell a lot of cars. You'll still get nailed on taxes in Maine but the price of the car will be lower at least. I dealt with one of the Internet sales managers there and he was great. I knew invoice on the car and he tacked on $500 over that. The dealership Doc fees of $399 are too high but I didn't bother to negotiate further (long story) but overall they were great and lets be honest it's not that much further to Manchester to save a few G's. I know you got an Acura but the Si really impressed my wife, no small thing that. ;)
New 2008 Civic Si

We picked one up almost 2 weeks ago. Price we paid was $20,999 OTD. We have no sales tax and the dealer charges $399 for documentation and the like. They were really helpful and I still think it was a good price. Basically $500 over invoice plus their doc fees. I had to buy soon, so no choice there. My wife absolutely loves the car over anything else we looked at. We did beat the Edmunds TMV price, so we are happy about that and we are very happy with the Internet manager, that we dealt with. I guess we could have nickeled and dimed them on the price a bit but they were light years ahead of the other dealership that was local to us. I wanted an Accord but my wife didn't so we now have the Civic Si. Great car, good price, great dealership so far. AutoFair Honda in Manchester, NH in case anyone wants to know.

For the EXL, looks like you beat our OTD price by $123. $32,449 -vs- $32,572 Nice job! I think yours is the lowest OTD price on the board for the NAV + DVD, at least from what I've seen ;-D
EXL w/ Nav and DVD in Manchester, NH

Just bought an EXL with Nav and DVD on 7/3 in Manchester, NH - Autofair Honda I traded an '01 Subaru Outback with over 94,000 miles and a few things that needed to be fixed. Will say the leather was in great condition on the Outback, but I have young children so there were a few other defects with the car. OTD including the trade and Doc fees we paid $24,449. KBB had my trade at about $7500 and the dealership gave me $8000. I think so they didn't have to show they went below invoice. I personally was only expecting to get about $7000 for the trade. So, the breakdown went like this ... Car: $32,150 Doc Fees and title: $299 Trade: $8000 OTD: $24,449 We haggled for a little while and then I told them the number I wanted to get to with the trade. I told them to get to that number or we were walking. I told them I don't care how you do your numbers - price for Ody vs. price for the trade, just get to the bottom line. They got to my number so we signed the deal. I didn't like the color of any on the lot so they went and found me the color I wanted with the options I wanted. No fee for that and they were very willing to do it - some dealers around here charge for that. Highly recommend Autofair Honda in Manchester. We did talk to Ira Toyota of Manchester, NH as we were comparing the Sienna and the Ody. Both vans had their pros and cons, but I didn't like dealing with Ira. They wanted to sell me what was on their lot even though none of the cars were the trim level I wanted nor had the options I wanted, told me they would not order me one, told me that they may never find my configuration as they only build certain configs. in certain parts of the country, and gave me a hard time about wanting a navigation system. I wanted leather, DVD and Nav. I don't think I was asking too much. Very happy with the Ody! T
