Find Honda Dealers in La Vista, Nebraska

This is probably WAY off topic. I am not sure if folks realize the design offices for the Civic (others also) are in So CA. So really the car is optimized for the LA LA environs. (aka doesn't snow much) We have a commute very similar to those in LA LA land and the Civic gets 38-42 mph. The one lone exception going on 56 mo/5 years has been this last month where the fuel mileage has dropped due to "winter like" (under 45 degrees F) conditions and the winter designer RUG to 33 mpg. ;)

Thanks to this board for all the info. The SF Bay area is still really hot for Odysseys. Here's my experience: - Used internet/phone for all my negotiations/inquiry. Very efficient. - Got as many local dealers to quote as possible. Best I found was $500 over MSRP, but dealer has waiting list. Dublin Honda, and I think Stockton? will do it at this price. - Have had success with Larry Hopkins Honda in Sunnyvale in the past, but was disappointed that a 3rd time customer like myself would be given the same price as everyone else: $1000 over MSRP. What a disappointment - Ended up purchasing from Robertson Palmdale Honda in Palmdale, CA. (60 mi. NE of LA, in the desert!) Note they are the 8th largest Honda dealer in the US, and they sell 80% of their Odysseys to the SF Bay Area. Paid: MSRP + TTL = $29,435.80 for Dark Emerald Pearl EX, No Navi, No add ons. I drove down and picked it up. Other options for Bay Area delivery are: - they will drive it up to you for $150 - finance manager (forgot name) flies private plane, and heard he will pick you up and fly you down for $500 (OK, that's alot, but no commuter airport close by) Was painfull to pay so much, but they got the van for me in less than a week.
