by jient on Thu Nov 19 13:10:39 PST 2009
Hi Car Man, Looking to lease a EX-L with some options (deck spoiler, bluetooth, remote start) - MSRP $28912 36/mos 15k. Can you break down for me what you would consider a good price with your suggested $0 down. Please include money factor and residual so I can calculate on my own should I make changes. Thanks!!!
Residual/mf on 2010 EX

Hi Car_man, can you confirm that the residual on a 2010 EX for 36 mos/12K per year is still 56% and the money factor is .00139? I'm in the Los Angeles area. Also, when do the residuals typically change, and do you think it will be the same in December? Finally, if you can stop by the Toyota Sienna Lease forum when you get a chance, I was inquiring there about lease rates from Toyota since I want to see how they stack up to Honda. Thanks!

Hi. I am also looking to lease a new Honda Pilot but the EX model and not the LX. The best price I have been offered so far is $0 down, $525/mo for 36 mos @ 12k miles/year. This seems high to me. I'm not too familiar with the way lease rates are set but I have leased cars in the past with a higher list price('04 Acura TL), and was given a better deal than the current offer. Any insight into whether this is a good deal or not is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Nick.
Are California Residuals different
by socal_bbfan on Sun Nov 08 09:57:19 PST 2009
Hello, We went through a "special" warehouse buying program recently and got pricing on a 2010 EX-L with NES as well as with NES and Nav. The pricing was ok, but not exciting. However, the residuals on a 36 mos, 12 K lease were lower than I see here...only 48% for either version although financing was .00139. The dealer didn't even want to quote us a 24 or 30 month lease option--we are leasing while we wait for the next major upgrade in 2011. Is the residual lower because we are in California...or was the dealer picking a place to make the deal sweeter for himself? Thanks!
