Re: Seeking a 2009 EX-L lease in Philadelphia area [mcbanta]

That seems high. I just received this quote Sellling Price $26048 MSRP $29225 Money factor .002490 for 36 mos Residual 17535 The payment would be $358.27 including tax with a total of $1030 down, which covers the 1st payment, aquisition fee, plates, reg, doc. If you want to go 42 mos the residual changes to $16658 and the money factor is .002550 with the payment being $345.29. Cars are not selling so I would not go over invoice and would suspect that you can get below invoice pricing.

Leto, That doesn't sound like a bad deal. It is better than what I am seeing from one dealer here in Central Ohio. I spoke with dealer today. He said AHF money rate (Super Preferred) is down to .00147, but the residual is also down slightly to 52%. He didn't tell me the price, but said with zero down, 12,000 miles, 36 mos., the payment would be $552/mo. (which I assume does not include tax). Still too rich for me. I need to test drive the Veracruz and see what kind of deal Hyundai will make.
Re: 2008 Honda CRV EX AWD [bpraxis]

Bpraxis, the internet manager seems to be quoting his invoice as dealer cost, which might be the case if he's been sitting on his vehicles very long, as his floorplan financing eats into dealer holdback. Sorry about his luck if that's the case. Many "internet managers" are given prices they can quote, and they are seldom the lowest price available. Sometimes you have to go around them. One thing that does have to be taken into consideration at this time is whether or not you'll be taking advantage of the preferred financing. The 1.9% for 24-36 mos, or the 3.9% for 36-60 mos. can be a savings of over $1000 compared to market rates. I'd still be hard pressed to pay much more than $22,800 for the model year old vehicle, unless it's for a color that is in short supply.

I'm currently shopping for an 2009 Accord sedan EXL (without navigation). I need advice on how much I should pay. Thanks in St. Louis, MO. Can anyone advise or share their purchase details. PS - Please be advised, I'm not sure what the abreviations stand for.
