Twin Cities, MN EX-L $27,500 before tax and title

We feel we did okay on this price, and we got a color we wanted. We maybe could have pushed a bit more on price but were sick of the process. Also, the EX-Ls (with no RES) must be in high demand in our area, or everyone else was looking for a bargain on a cloudy/rainy Saturday morning at the end of the month. They really were flying off the lot on Saturday morning. We know of two other EX-Ls that were sold in the couple of hours we were at the dealership completing our transaction. I thought it was a joke when people talk about cars being bought out from under them. One car that was on our short list was sold between the time we talked with the salesperson and when we arrive an hour later. Then, we snatched our car from some other people who wanted it. Those buyers had taken a look at the color the same time we were in it deciding. Then, apparently they told the salesman it was the one they wanted, but we were out driving it. Since we were in it, we got it. We bought at Inver Grove Honda, and it was a good experience. The only pressure at all, which was still very minimal, was to buy the extended warrantly. Where wouldn't we buy? Walser Honda in Burnsville. They advertise no haggle pricing, but their prices are so much higher than everyone else's that they are a joke. Congrats to the other person from the Twin Cities who got an EX-L for $27,200 from Brookdale Honda. That's a great price! That dealer never responded to our e-mail inquiry, and they are so far from us that we didn't drive up there to check them out.

FYI Walser Honda in Burnsville is a "no-negotiations" dealer, like every other Walser dealership. So they were serious when they said they would not negotiate.

Now isnt it a little unfair to label a brand for what a dealership does? I know that most of the Honda dealers i went to in MN were almost as bad as that dealership sounds. They offered me in 2006 5K for an 01 chev silverado 4x4 custom, never even looked at it. It booked for around 10K at the time. I sold the truck on my own and went to Walser Honda in Burnsville and was treated very well.

There are dealers who don't play the "ADM" game. One example is Walser Burnsville (MN) Honda, which is charging MSRP for their '09 Fits even if it's to get in line for one they don't have in stock yet.
MN & IA: 2007 Touring R&N
by 1stlexus on Tue Oct 23 07:36:55 PDT 2007
Just paid $34,193 including $2,000 incentive for 2007 Touring R&N from "one-price" Walser Honda in Burnsville. Or about $200 over invoice from what I can tell. And that was with zero negotiation so I suppose you could knock a bit more off it if you really wanted to. While I'm sure the new features of the 2008's will be nice, not worth the $4,000 extra over 2007 ($1,500 price increase (with PAX)and losing the $2,000 incentive plus additional dealer margin that will be required at first for the 2008s) IMHO.
Last night
by bigfur on Tue Jul 31 18:33:12 PDT 2007
Made a deal last night for a 2007 Galaxy Grey Metallic AWD A/T. Bought it from Walser Honda in Burnsville MN. Price on the windshield was 21,455 plus TTL. Considering how much of an a-hole all the other dealerships around here are i thought it was a great deal. Most MN dealerships want atleast sticker on all Hondas. This is the third Walser vehical i have bought and every time it has been painless and the service has been incredible.
