Don't play games just let them give you a price and then give them all the data from this website edited down to exactly what you want them to see. It worked GREAT for me.

Captain: by tspintom on Sun Dec 23 16:03:16 PST 2007; The Grand Rapids, MI Press for Sunday Dec.23rd has an ad in the Automotive section by the Honda Dealer advertising "HAPPY HONDA DAYS". And also touting 2.9% financing on all new Hondas. Ad states, "All prices plus tax,title,plate and doc fee. 2.9% for 36 months through AHFC with approved credit. Excludes any prior purchase. Interesting!

Is this a Good Price??: by nivloc1 on Mon Sep 25 13:10:28 PDT 2006; For a 07 EX AT - No Nav. Nighthawk Black Added two options: Fog Lights Day/night rearview w/compass $21,729.68 OTD. This includes TTL. Website states MSRP $20,105. If I added the two options the dealership quoted, it would add $713 (includes installation) or a price of $20,818. Add TTL and that comes to apprx $22,270. From that view, I'm being quoted apprx.$540 below MSRP. I'm located in Grand Rapids, MI. Does this sound reasonable?? On the surface, it looks fair. But that doesn't mean I didn't overlook something.

I live in Mid-Mi and had found few to no ex's in stock. Checked everywhere, Muskegon, Bay City, Detroit, Ann Arbor, you name it. I must have checked 20-25 dealers. I finally was able to secure an EX-AWD in my chosen color- blue, for a decent price, but it is coming from Ohio. By the way people, I would avoid Fox Honda in Grand Rapids. They quoted me $21.7k over the phone (including destination), then when I wanted to secure the deal I was told that the salesperson didn't have the authority to offer it at that price. Said they couldn't go lower than $22k. Given that their doc fee was $40 higher than anyone else and they way they treated me, I walked. I saved around $300 getting it from Brighton Honda and having them ship the car from Ohio.

Re: EX-L in Michigan [keygo]: by mbrum on Thu Jul 20 07:16:23 PDT 2006; Don't know exactly where you are located keygo, but after watching this board (thanks guys!) and holding out for about 3 months, I just bought a 2006 EX-L 4 X 4, Nighthawk Black Pearl with gray Leather at Fox Honda in Grand Rapids MI for $26540 including destination. + $170 doc fee & TTL. All done over the net and one phone call to confirm. Made an offer based on my research, they countered, I bought! Pick her up Friday!
