I asked for the sales manager and told him I wanted a Pilot and would pay 300 over invoice, noting that he already had holdback. I told him dealers in central OH were selling for 500 over invoice, but the extra 200 would sway me to his dealership. He called back 10 minutes later and we had a deal. I am in Bowie every few weeks, and the drive from this dealer to Bowie is about 6 hours. I did EVERYTHING via fax and used my credit card for a 500 good faith refundable deposit. 27100 for an EX cloth. I did not finance so that should have hurt his profit margin. 2003 pilot: by silverpilot03 on Thu May 01 12:32:52 PDT 2003; I posted my price a 4 weeks ago, but thought i would repost so rpinnj could check the price at my dealer also. I bought an EX cloth for 27100. That was 300 over invoice. I asked for the salesmanager the first time I called. I made the deal and then a salesman took over. I did everything on the phone. Sim Fryson Honda even arranged to do new car takeoffs for Michelin Cross Terrains (60 ea. upcharge over the Duelers). NOW- They did say they probably would not do another deal that cheap, but you might get lucky??? They are in Ashland Ky which is across the river from Huntington WV- south western WV. Also- someone posted a great deal on GUNNAUTO.com. It was dealer cost LESS holdback. NO profit. I check the website and that was the posted price for a few weeks. Their prices have come WAY up since then. They are now 500+- under MSRP. Did anyone buy from them. They seem to have really perceived they could raise their prices over the last few weeks.

27100 ex cloth: by silverpilot03 on Mon Apr 14 20:37:19 PDT 2003; I paid 27100 for an ex cloth at Sim Fryson in Ashland KY. This is just west of Huntington WV. Everything was done via fax until the actual delivery. I did put on Michelin Cross Terrains as new car take-offs. I would say they ride quieter and smoother that the Bridgestones that were OEM. Tirerack's survey rates the CT's very highly and I would concur. The ride is better that my old 2001 Intrepid with new Michelin X-Ones.

He does not have the Sandstone so he will need to do a dealer trade. I think the deal with pilotexl was for a limited time because they did not give him a deposit. they could not make up there minds.If I give a deposit this am the deal is solid.Just need to wait while he finds the car. Any advice is much appreciated.
