We just took delivery of a Taffeta White 2008 Odyssey Touring. We got if from Maroone Honda of Miami. Using the donkeypunch1 method I attempted to get quotes from every dealer in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties - and even some from Orlando - and then go back to the best to try and beat the lowest price, and Maroone's price was significantly below every other dealer. The salesperson I worked with (no names allowed!) is the Director of eCommerce. By the time the deal had concluded my email thread with him was, when printed, 27 pages. I have no idea how he put up with my endless requests for information and iterations of the deal that might yield a lower price. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and willing to communicate that I suggested to him that he host a Web discussion so that people can get answers from someone who is in a position to provide them. He said that he would consider doing that. Please reply to this post if you want such a discussion and what type of information you would want to know.
South FL EXL with NAV & RES

Just got an 07 EXL with Nav and RES Slate Green with Olive interior for 33.7k OTD (actually 34.1k including all weather mats and cargo mat and doc fee). I dealt with several dealers in South FL. Here's my experience: Rick Case Honda - good dealer with great warranty, arrogant salesman. Holman Honda - Internet manager lowballed and then didn't have the car. Brickel Honda - Sales Manager made me drive 40 miles for a car he didnt have. Internet manager apoligized and called the sales manager an a$$. Beach Honda - made me drive, didnt have the car. manager was apoligetic. Braman Honda - had the car but were rude over the phone with a take it or leave it attitude. Maroone Honda of Hollywood - had the car but they wouldn't come down below 34.7k Maroone Honda of Miami - said they would get the car from the Hollywood branch and sell it to me for 34.1k but when i went for the paperwork, the manager came by and jacked up the price by $700 saying the salesperson goofed up! Largo Honda - I called them last night. The internet manager told me he didnt have the car but could ty to get one. We settled on the price. Today they got the car from the Hollywood dealer and delivered it to my house today for 33.7k!!!! I am off to play with the NAV....
Just brought home my EXV6

Just wanted everybody to know that I just drove home my new EXV6 auto w/o nav for $24,500 plus tax and tag only. NO FEES!! I drove all the way to Miami to purchase bec they were the only ones to have black left. when I got there it had $4000 worth of add ons: wheel locks, rear fin, mud flaps, pin striping, fog lights, trunk mat sticker price was up to $32,391 I thought i was going to die, but I brought along my other written prices and they gave it to me loaded for $24,500, and gave me $1000 for my 92 mazda 929 with broken drive shaft. If you remain firm and stick to your guns you can get it for what you want. Nobody should be paying over $24,000. Anybody in the S FL area looking to purchase, I highly recommend BEACH HONDA. Best sales people out of the 4 dealerships that I went to. No haggling and it was pretty fast. Thanks to everyone and good luck!!!

Hello CARman. Excellent thread, BTW. I would like to know if you can give me a monthly payment range based on the following info: '06 Pilot EX-L w/ RES 42 months 15,000 miles $500 down 764 FICO credit score (tier 1, I assume?) Miami, FL 6.5% taxes (Palm Beach, FL resident) Thanks!

I live in Hollywood, FL & can purchase a Pilot in either Miami, Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale, all the way up to Delray Beach. I really haven't had any luck with a decent price...if anyone lives in any of these areas, I would really appreciate any info you can give me regarding purchasing an LX (my husband needs it for work, so he doesn't want the leather seats & all the other bells & whistles.) Thanks for a hopefully prompt reply because we are ready to buy.
