Sorry we cannot discuss your statement about the Accord's "superior resale value". Too bad, as The Grad said, that the mid size comparison discussion was killed off because of the behavior of a few posters.

Just checked back in. Don't think I said anything negative about Honda, just something positive about another "H" car, which was off topic & I apologise for that. The Accord is a great car, no question about it, but there are other alternatives.

Hi Folks.. just cruising thru here as I'm usually on the Sonata site. Purchased '07 Hyundai Sonata SE for our company four days ago in NJ (we're in CT) for $18,189 OTD. This included all dealer fees and 6% (CT) sales tax of $1149. Price of car before tax and including dealer all fees (doc,etc) and registration & title was $17,040. MSRP $22080 before delaer fees & TTL. Suggest anyone looking to buy, take a look at the Hyundai. It's not what it was 10 years ago. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. But, IMO, it compares very favorably with the Accord. Look at the standard features included in this mid-trim level Sonata, including the 234 HP 6 cyl engine.
