Re: Honda of Greeley, Colorado and their Quote for 2007 EX AWD Element [soo
by tabbycat3 on Sun Feb 11 16:28:20 PST 2007
We ended up purchasing the Honda Element EX (2007) from Honda of Greeley, CO. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. They did try to push the Extended Warranties as I'm sure they are told to do. We just kept saying, "No Thank-you". The rest of the purchase was a breeze. We have had our Honda Element for about 2 weeks now and are really pleased with it. We are calling around to see who has the cheapest "installed" price for the fog lights. So far, Boulder, CO (Fisher Honda) is beating Fort Collins, Longmont and Greeley in the pricing by at least a couple of hundred.

We just purchased an LX here in Boulder, CO. I think we got a pretty fair price, but the sales tax just kills us out here. Price: 22,912 (incl all fees, dest, etc) Options: 1,406 (full towing package, roof rack) Tax: 2,006 (our sales tax is a ridiculous 8.25%) --- OTD: 26,324 - Chris
Got My FIT Sport!
by jebc23 on Tue Apr 10 10:28:59 PDT 2007
Picked up my Blaze Orange Fit Sport AT yesterday at Fisher Honda in Boulder, CO. Paid MSRP ($16565), dealer fees of 399.50, plus local taxes. Had to sit through the businesss manager's spiel about extended warranty, etc, and hear the horror stories about what "could" happen if I didn't opt for the "extras." I politeley declined. I did notice two add-ons to the price that I did NOT request: a "security etching" on the windows ($199) and an additional charge for four discounted service visits down the road. I asked that both be removed, and that happened with no problem. All in all, the experience at Fisher was great. I loved my saleman, who shall remain nameless. Only thing I will have to get used to: NOT being able to see the hood AT ALL from the driver's seat. I know it's there, and I guess I'll get used to that! Now to figure out mats, seat covering or cushions, and other accessories....
Great dealer experience

Picked up my Milano Red Sport MT last Saturday. Had ordered it on 14 April. I can give a very positive recommendation to Fisher Honda of Boulder, CO. I went there rather than a closer Honda dealer because I had heard good things about them and I wasn't dissapointed. Got the car for sticker price w/o any markup or dealer add-ons. Paid $225 installed price for rubber mats, exhaust finisher and rear bumper protection strip. Salesman was excellent - timely and complete communication via Email. Had to listen to the usual half hour spiel by the finance guy about things I didn't want (insurance, Lojak, etc) before writing the check but not really high pressure. Checked out the service area when I had the accessories installed - pretty nice setup. The usual shuttle rides available, but also loaner bicycles if you want to run errands in Boulder and also a computer with internet access! So if you're in the Front Range area and want a FIT, I'd recommend Fisher. Salesman did say that availability of manual transmission Fits may be limited for awhile, though.

I'm sure the policy will vary from dealer to dealer. Fisher Honda in Boulder, CO has what I would consider a very customer-friendly policy about credit cards. They took my credit card for my $500 deposit when I was waiting for the car, but did not actually charge to it (just held the number). When I completed the purchase, they allowed me to put $2000 on my credit card to get some milage. I can certainly understand why they have a limit, as the credit card fee would be a big percentage of their profit on an inexpensive car like a Fit.

I just purchased a FIT sport manual for $15,720 (MSRP) plus sales tax in Boulder Colorado. No dealer "adders" to the price. Didn't have the color I wanted in the April allocation, so mine will arrive in mid/late May.
