Northern CA.prices,dealer experiences: by trekman on Sun Dec 10 16:23:32 PST 2000; I live in the Sacramento valley,looking for an EX model Odyssey.here's what i found: 1)Autowest Honda in the Roseville Automall-$4995 mark-up above MSRP,pretty stuck on their prices! they have 2 vans in stock-no wonder! 2)Carmichael Honda in Citrus Heights-$1500 mark-up,the vans are ordered by VIN#,about a 3-4 week waiting list.price is firm.even know sales mgr. 3)Elk Grove Honda in Elk Grove,just south of Sac.-$1500 mark-up,price appears firm,no vans in stock 4)Mel Rapton Honda in Sacramento-sell at MSRP,need to be put on waiting list.they're saying it's a 4-6 mo.waiting list(no deposit req'd) though many cases less time,depending on color. 5)University Honda in Davis-MSRP!-need to call them back,looks like a pretty fair waiting list. 6)Shingle Springs Honda,east of sacramento about 20 mi.-never go there!i called yesterday,was quoted MSRP and any options if we like,when i got there,they wouldn't budge below $31000!what a joke.they'll lie just to get ya in and then slam the door in your face.they have a beige EX,though will probably be there a while as it "has"to be sold w/$2995 leather and a few other things.none of the options are even installed on the vehicle. 7)Stockton Honda-south of sacramento a bit-1k above MSRP,which includes mudflaps(whoopie!) 8)Winter Honda in Pittsburgh,CA.(north bay area)- 1k over MSRP,appears firm.none in stock,sales mgr said their eta for another EX in the 18th still looking..............
