Thank you to mvspeed2007. Santa Ana Honda replied with an internet quote of $29,500+tax+title+fees for a EX-L w/ DVD. Poway Honda matched that deal. Poway Honda was the ONLY San Diego dealer to come near the price. The closet internet quote from the San Diego area was from Escondido Honda at 33,315.00 OTD Out the door price was $32,138.51 at Poway Honda. I highly recommend Brynda Dunbar. She is very knowledgable regarding current pricing in LA/Irvine/Temecula and San Diego. Note: I have seen multiple definitions of OTD. I define it as the "final" price including all fees, tax, title and destination - it includes everything.

I am looking to purchase a 2007 Honda Odyssey w/RES. I used the carsdirect.com price as my starting point and asked dealers to beat. All negotiation was over the phone and very easy. Has anyone found better deals than this: All prices include Cargo Tray, Wheel Locks, Door Trim, Mud Guards Honda of Escondido: 30,495 + tax,license, fees 33,315.68 OTD Honda of Mission Valley 30,780 + tax,license, fees 33,472.71 OTD Poway Honda 30,480 + tax,license, fees 33,332.24 OTD I would be willing to drive to LA Area for better deals. Any advice would be recommended.
2007 Odyssey EX-L DVD/NAV in San Diego

I want to thank this board for helping me tremendously for my negotiation and purchase of my new Nimbus Gray EX-L DVD/NAV (took delivery today!). First, I went through the Costco Program in San Diego (Escondido dealership) - their price was $200 over invoice, but added a bunch of options and fees, etc. Then I got several email quotes - many of which were between $34,600 to $36,000 OTD. After some back and forth, I selected a dealer (Pacific Honda), made and appointment, then made my final offer, which was accepted. Here's my info, and I hope it helps: MSRP: $35,490 Invoice: $32,503 My Price: $31,221.33 Docs: $55 Sales Tax: $2423.92 DMV Fees: $291 CA Tire Fee: $8.75 OTD Price: $34,000 Includes Protection Package: mud flaps, edgeguards, wheel locks, trunk tray. I got 4.9 financing for 60 months. I came to them with my OTD Price - I would not budge on this, even when they went through their song-and-dance tactics. They were nice, but I think they realized I wasn't there to negotiate - only to get my price. I'm satisfied with the price, though I wonder if I could've gone even lower. But in the end, I got the price I wanted. I hope this helps everyone.

Sorry for the double post. Wound up getting a 2002 EX-Coupe 5-speed with 29K miles. It's not certified but has 8 months and 7K miles left on the original warranty. Asking price was $14,800, got it down to $13000. The car is pretty immaculate. I bought it from Cush Acura in Escondido, CA. Great experience going through the internet manager. Quick email responses, went through the paperwork in detail with me, offered a good price right away, knowledgable about the car, warranty, financing, etc, and did not try anything sketchy. Would highly recommened teh dealership and salespeople, if anyone is in So Cal.

Just came back from Cush Honda in Escondido, CA. Purcahse Civic LX 2Dr Coupe 5sp for $14000 including mud guards, floor mats and protection pkg.
