2006 pilot EXL with DVD: by mggg on Thu Jun 08 23:33:43 PDT 2006; I purchased a 2006 pilot EXL 2wd with dvd for $28149.00 + tax and license ect... from a dealer in Lancaster, CA. So how good a deal did I get? The dealer said I was a criminal. I am curious if all the research I did truly paid off or if he is doing a great job of playing the part?

I had gotten a written quote of $1400 over invoice for a Touring Res&Nav from Michael Hohl Honda in Carson City, NV (I have friends in the Tahoe area which would make this an easy buy) and from a dealer at Lancaster Auto Group in So Cal for $1400 over invoice. Sadly, neither one has the color combination I'm looking for.   I ended up deciding to go with a dealer in Oregon which is a bit of a trek for me and my family but we're turning it into a weekend trip with a leisurely drive down the Oregon/California coast over the weekend. He's quoted me $1800 over invoice on the Touring R&N. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly but have my rental car reservation just in case. ;-) Either way, we have a nice drive down the coast.   Thanks to everybody on this forum, it's been very helpful and educational to listen to the bickering, er, comments. I'll report what happened when I'm back.

Lancaster Honda CA.: by kahuna11 on Fri Aug 22 08:37:09 PDT 2003; Just bought a LX from Lancaster Honda Ca. I am about 100 mile away from this place. Deal went over the phone with fleet sales person Lara. It took about 15 mins to make a deal. I was very impressed, I was reading a post that suggested to try them out. They deliverd it to my house and the paper work was signed in my living room. Nothing get's easier than that.If your from the so.cal area give them a try.

03 Accord EX Auto: by steve_on on Thu Apr 10 20:32:45 PDT 2003; Just bought a 2003 Accord, Silver EX Four Door Auto for $20,300 with 2.9 finance @ Lancaster CA Honda. $45 Doc fees, $176 DMV fees. Went in through the Lancaster CA. Honda store's Web site, got a no BS sale with great service. Matter of fact they are delivering the car tommorow after work, few minor issues with the paint to take care of first. The dealer is also increasing the power train warranty to 5 Year /100K at no cost. While waiting, one of the porters told me that they deliver cars all the way out to state line! Great buying experence. I would highly recommend anyone in the high desert of Southern California all the way out to Nevada giving Lancaster honda a try out.
