Buying a car from a Honda Car Dealer
Closed an amazing deal today. 2011 Accord LX. 30 Month lease, 12k/year. $149/month + tax. $350 out the door which covers Registration and Doc Fees. First Month payment paid by dealer. This is an AD deal. It probably breaks down like this, after I run the numbers: MSRP: 22,700 Purchase Price: 17,800 Residual: 65% Money Factor: 0.00084 Hardin Honda in Anaheim, CA. Sounds amazing, right? But, I was actually attracted by a much better deal to this dealership. 2011 Civic DX VP, $1999 due at signing, $30/month! 12k/year for 30 months. Adjusted for the same due at signing, my accord is $60/month more expansive. Even though the Civic is a much better deal, I felt it's too economic a car. I had quite a few very good lease deals in the past, but nothing like this. My friend got the Civic...
There is an AD by Hardin Honda in Anaheim, CA, for 2011 Civic DX VP, 30 month lease, 12k/year. $1999 total due at signing, $30/month! It's a legitimate AD, my friend got the Car today. I got an Accord instead because of family needs. Please be aware that this kind of deal can never be negociated. The selling price on this car is almost 5k off the 17.3K MSRP.
We stopped to check out yet another dealer in Orange County, CA and found them surprisingly ready to make a deal. Got the van for 39187 + Tax and Lic. That makes it approx 1500 above invoice and 2300 below MSRP. This was at Hardin Honda, Anaheim. The deal was done in 30 mins. Just wanted to know if they had the Touring in stock but came back with the Van :-). I'm sure in the next few months - if not sooner- invoice pricing will be back.
2011 EX 2wd Crystal Black Pearl $28,008 + TTL $716 Premium Running Board installed $32,080 OTD This was purchased at Hardin Honda (Anaheim, CA - 9.75% sales tax). 90% of communication was through email with a few phone calls for last minute details. My friend just got Accord EXL-V6 for $24,100 + tax + docs. Total is $26,700 OTD in Hardin Honda in S. CA (Anaheim)
