California Honda Car Dealers

Any comments on my purchase of Honda CR-V $23,600 on road after trading my 99 Toyota Corolla (123 K miles) I got wheel locks, mudguard and trunk mat included in that price. The purchase is in CA where tax is at 8.25% Thanks.

Only Honda Dealers sell Honda Care. However, there are some dealers in CA that sell at or near cost (similar to Bernardi prices). You might want to check on odyclub.com to see which dealers match bernardi. Also, just found that Hyannis Honda (in MA I think) also sells honda care at cost.

We purchased a 2012 EX-L 4WD Pilot in December 2011. It has almost 3,000 miles on it. Here's our mileage so far: 1. Took a trip to CA with 7 passengers and luggage inside the vehicle. Trip computer reported 20.x mpg on mostly freeway driving between 75-80 mph. 2. We do a lot of freeway driving (80% of the time) and we've been getting 22.x mpg on almost every tank of gas. This is with 5 passengers and no luggage load. 3. Overall mileage since we bought the vehicle = 21.x mpg. We haven't reset trip computer B yet. Granted this is a 4,500 lb vehicle and not aerodynamic as a car but we're very happy with the mileage. We didn't buy it for gas mileage but for passenger capacity and neither me or my wife wants to drive a minivan. Hope this helps.

I was looking for Honda Care Extended Warranty. Did you mean that Credit Unions sell Honda Care Extended Warranties? This is the first time I am planning to buy an Extended Warranty. So I have no clue.

Check with a credit union. As far as $2 grand from the dealer run away from him!
