Pilot in Anchorage?: by chris5 on Sat May 15 22:17:59 PDT 2004; Just signed papers today here in Anchorage to order a 2004 Pilot EX-L. Tried to get the best deal possible, but was only able to get them down to MSRP (they originally wanted a few thousand over MSRP). Not much choice locally, since there is only one Honda dealer here in Anchorage. No Pilots on the lot...the only way to get one here is to snag one as it comes off the boat. No real bargaining power either, as I get the line "...we sell them as soon as they're built". Any ideas out there about how to get a better deal or am I doomed to pay MSRP here in the Great White North?
