I had the battery of my 06 Hummer H3 checked by the service dpt.because it kept "dying". I was told it was just a lose connection. They had also reset "traction failure" light that was constantly on. After picking up the vehicle which was at the dealership for 2 days because they weren't able to confirm our GM Protect coverage for which we had proof in the form of an official GM card, the next morning my wife couldn't start it up due to dead battery. When she called the service, she was told that a) We were lucky they even serviced the vehicle since they are not a Hummer dealer (although they are a GM service provider) and b) to shut up after she told them that their service is substandard. When she was told to shut up I got on the phone and angrily told the rep not to talk to her that way. His response was that they don't have to deal with us. Later we found out from Hummer Customer service that the service dpt. refuses to service our vehicle based on the fact that they feel threatened. This is not the first instance of such behavior on their part. We have heard many similar stories all aroung the island. Furthemore, not 3 months after the whole incident, the traction failure light came on again. At this point, we have to ship our vehicle for any warranty related problems to Honolulu while Kuhio Motors maintains to be a GM service provider without any penalties. Can you say injustice?
