Since my trusted mechanic is literally halfway across the country I decided my next car would be a new one. Thanks to a tree totaling my recently paid-off car I needed one much sooner than planned. Did most of my research here on Edmonds and narrowed it down to 4 makes/models. Priced them with the options & color I wanted, then went the ‘request online quotes’ route. Five Star was one of those who responded—unlike my local dealers, shame on them! After a few emails back and forth I had my bottom line price (all fees, taxes, etc. included). Not only did Brad @ Five Star give me the best price, he even had someone come pick me up and take me to their dealership (almost 100 miles away). I’d already gotten my own pre-approved financing through an outside company, but they offered to see if they could beat it. They did so with a lower interest rate and at same loan length as I’d gotten on my own. My car was almost exactly as advertised on the link given in their email: didn’t have keyless entry, but (I think) the money they knocked off the earlier bottom-line quote was to make up for that). Overall this was exactly how ALL car purchases should be! No haggling, no deception, no pressuring. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a car…and don’t forget to do your research her on Edmonds!
