Re: Used Acadia [cwa31871]

If you don't plan on keeping it a long time, then I'd stay away from it. REAL trade-in values on the Acadia stink. $22K is probably less than book trade, but try getting that from a dealer. You might think about test driving it over to Car Max and asking what they'd give you for it. They tend to be pretty reasonable. If the number is more than 22K, then you might have a good deal. If you do plan on keeping it for a while, then the trade-in value is less of an issue but I'dthink about an extended warrant. Whatever you do, get a CARFAX report and have a mechanic check it out. Good luck!

Without knowing the actual pricing, it's tough to say (MSRP?). If your deal includes TTL and all fees, then it's slightly better than the advertised deal (MSRP $32515). GM is not known for offering good lease deals, so this one seems relatively attractive.
GM Has Given Up

I haven't seen any indication that GM even wants to continue in business. They have raised prices across the board, lowered incentives, cut back on inventories at the dealerships, and their websites don't even work as well as they did. I'm very disappointed that this major force in our nation has rolled over...

You're looking at $10K to make that happen unless you find a dealer that is being closed down and wants to stay in the used car business. Good luck.

BAD DEAL. You could have bought it new for 16-18K off MSRP a few months ago. Book value used is still 10K less than your offer. Check EBay for reference...
Re: Starting point for negotiating on an 09 Yukon SLT [cashman5]

My local dealer is now showing $10k off plus 0/60 on Yukons. They are so hurting for sales, that they're making money-losing deals just to give their staffs something to do.
