Re: SLT-2 Quote - May 2007 [mtnwestsienna]

Looks pretty good, if that's as close to invoice as you can get. Right now, the demand for the Acadia is just growing so much, that dealers simply don't have to drop the price much, and as part of GM's revised pricing, there really isn't that much room to do so. Granted, mid to late this summer, you may see an increase in the incentive figure or finance rate, but all that will be left then is a few oddly optioned or colored '07s. 2008 production starts on June 18th, and the only changes have already been covered--a rear view camera on models with navigation, a pearl black replacing the Carbon metallic, and a revised pearl white. That's essentially it.
Re: 2007 Denali Lease - Good Deal? [groupwhere]

I assume they just add all of the up front costs (bank charge, sec deposit, tags, first payment) into the cap cost and calculate the lease from there (i.e. you would be financing those as well). That quote you got seems high to me on the surface. I am going to be leasing one with a 58K sticker for right around $800 including the 9% tax in PA. I think the zero down quote was closer to arond $860 per month including tax. Granted that is using a supplier discount but the quotes I got w/o the discount were maybe only 30-40 more. What price for the car are they using to calculate that lease?

No offense gmchater2, but if getting the most for your vehicle is so important to you, then you might want to sell it yourself rather than let a dealer take advantage of you (it's just business). Or, at least check the Kelly Blue Book trade in prices prior to accepting a $10K offer for your vehicle. Granted, Envoy's don't hold their value quite as well as, let's say, a 4runner, but that doesn't make them bad vehicles. (does it?). In fact, they could be the best used vehicle bargan around. Great engine. lotsa' features. I want one- if I could just find the right deal on the right vehicle.
LT 2WD Deal....26088 Out the door
by emerone on Thu Jul 03 09:05:49 PDT 2003
After spending time researching used/new on edmunds and other sites, all the rebates avalible made new a viable option. The vehicle that I bought has LT, Driv conv pkg, on-star, steps, cd/cass, lock diff, 3.73, cargo net, all seasons, summit white, MSRP 32,760. Going through Arizona, Bill Heard Chevy Internet Sales Dept taked down to about 500 below invoice @ 29,066. Got 4K rebate, 500 conquest, 400 col grad, 695 on-star (did not have to sign up for a package) total 5,595. Base price of car was 23,471. Add tax @ 7.7% 1,807, lic 514, doc 300 for out the door 26088. I thought I did well considering used 2003 LTs with less options in the area are listed @ 26K, granted you could talk prive down to 23, but after lic of 500 you only save about 2.5K for 15,000 miles (no private car sales tax in AZ) What do you think? good deal? or should I have waited for one of those end of the year blowout sales??? Cheers!

What are you on? All cars have a dealer invoice price. Copies of these can be obtained from various sources. They're all equal at the time of manufacture. Granted, there are incentives and holdbacks that aren't shown, but they do exist for all manufactures. I won't stoop to bashing the looks, features and performance of the Pilot, even though it's hard not to.
