Re: 09 rebates? [btshaw4]

Any updates on Feb pricing? I saw a sign in the window of a Denali in early January at the local dealership that said $18K off MSRP, but based on the rebates I'm seeing and the markup from invoice to MSRP, I don't know what other components get to an $18K off price. Anyone with a recent purchase, please share how much off MSRP you ended up at before TTL or trade-in. thanks
2007 XL's
by c5_4fun on Sun Jul 02 07:31:10 PDT 2006
Any insight on what's the current "going" price (vs invoice) for a 2007 XL? I went out yesterday only to learn they're still short supply when I want navigation and 20" wheels. One dealer told me he'd come off 2% (and that there was only 4% profit in them to begin with). After he mentioned the 4% profit, I decided I'll find a different dealer to work with.
Picked up an '04
by c5_4fun on Mon Aug 30 19:16:03 PDT 2004
I looked at the GMC Yukon and Chevy Tahoe between 8 dealers. Seems to be limited supply of '04 LT's and SLT's, but I found many Denali's available (just didn't want to spend the additional $7K) and a lot of red Z71's. Anyway, after many internet price quotes and searching color/option availability I bought the Tahoe LT Saturday for $100 under invoice before GM's rebate. While there's good deals on the new ones, the trade-in value for my '02 was tough to stomach.

I was also looking between the '04 and '05. I have gotten quotes on the '04 Tahoe and Yukon from two dealers each. The best price I got was approx invoice +$500 with one dealer being invoice +$1500. Since I went after the '04 (essentially a one year old model car), I expected to be at invoice or lower (before GM rebates). I expected the above prices to be more applicable to buying an '05. What's a reasonable expectation for the remaining '04's? I'm in Chicagoland if anyone has a recommendation.

#8 chipperrrr is right regarding #3 and the 3% Hold back on a 32.8K truck is $890.
