Buying a car from a GMC Car Dealer
I have done the math a few times for longer trips. As always ones driving habits and driving conditions can make a large difference. One recent trip was 380 miles, 16.468 Gals = 23.07MPG (while highway miles, some hilly terrain involved). Last week a trip to Maine from Connecticut yielded 526.8 miles 19.819 Gals = 26.05 MPG (kind of surprised me even though it was mostly flat territory). On the trip to maine I kept cruise on between 56-58 MPH and A/C was an off and on thing. This is with the AWD V6 rated at 22 MPG highway. For the last 3500 miles or so since I reset the computer the puter tells me its averaging 23.6. Total miles on the odo is just over 7000.
If you are buying it for better gas mileage than a full size SUV. We bought a 2011 Acadia Denali AWD, around town best we have seen is 14.5 and on the highway 17. Dealer says it's getting 24.2 on the highway after a 100 mile road test but when we got the car back the on board computer displayed 17. Think they are lying????? you know they are so they don't have to take it back. we have almost 7,000 miles on the car and they keep saying wait it will get better. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! We wish we could get back our 2009 Yukon Denali at that we traded in wanting a car with better fuel mileage man are we sorry at least the Yukon had some get up and go 400HP.
Carman, I need your help. Pls let me know if this is a good lease deal on a 2011 GMC Acadia Denali: MSRP: $49,560 39 Month Lease / 12,000 Miles $3,000 Down $550/Month including CT Taxes (6%) Thanks, sputnik
As a first time potential lessee, I received the following lease offer from a Connecticut GMC dealer on a 2011 Acadia SLT-1 vehicle having an MSRP of $44,000, Invoice of $41,700, and an Edmunds TMV of $42,500. Using the TMV price as a starting point, current incentive of $2,000, and trade-in of my 2004 Merc Mountaineer with 105,000 miles for an additional cap cost reduction of $5,500, I calculate a net price of $35,000 plus tax and tags. I know one shouldn't necessarily trade-in a vehicle on a lease, but don't want the hassle of selling it privately... Based on the above, what should the monthly lease payment be for a lease of 39 months and 54,000 mile allotment? I was quoted $575/month...Seems high to me? What is the current money factor, and residual for 39 months and higher than normal mileage allotment?
i purchased my Yukon at City Cadillac Hummer Saab - they were great...they're in Long Island City...good luck
