Buying a car from a Ford Car Dealer
Greetings Car_man, On the main site, it appears the incentives from Ford are up for February. Are there any updates to the lease details for a 2012 Focus Titanium Hatchback for 36 months 15,000 miles/year? Money Factor: Residual: Any incentives: Thanks for your help.
I bought Ford Flex 2011 Ecobost 3 days ago. My Experience with Cowles Ford in woodbridge VA is terrible!!! They deceitfully sold to me a car that I did not see! I suggest that you don't buy a car that you did not see! When I complained that the car that they sold to me is not what I have expected...they said they will find me a different car. They found a "DEMO" car that has 6000 miles on it ...Demo means used car!!! Right? They sold it to me on a MSRP price....they wanted me to exchange my brand new car to a used demo car and the most ridiculous thing that they said because the demo car comes with a little more option ..... I need to pay $5000.00 more!!! Selling a used car on MSRP price is NOT acceptable at all! And trying to Rob your customer is even more NOT acceptable in any angle! I just financed with them a brand new car for $60,000.00 and they wanted me to pay more for a demo car!!! I got tired arguing and going back & forth...I just told them that I will just keep my brand new unwanted car....I wanted a bucket seats in the 2nd row because I drive 4 children to school everyday and they are in car seat! They gave me a car with a bench seat!!!! I clarified it with the Sales man and he said he did not remember me saying that I need a bucket seat car.....I am so mad!!! Why will I forget the very reason of me to buy a new car! I need a car that is convenient and has an interior of a minivan that I don't have to fold the middle chair back & forth!
Yes, I put someonr out the door on a new 2011 Fusion SE with automatic for $19,500....And I was surprised to get them that...
Hey guys, First time here and found some great info. I am returning a Fusion lease and looking for an Escape lease to replace it. I'm fortunate enough to have access to the Z Plan. I live in the Northern VA area for comparison purposed. They quoted me for an Escape XLT AWD with the 202A spec package. MSRP is $27,815 and the Z Plan price is $25,398. No issues there. However, the subsidized lease rate is 3.75 (how does this convert to money factor? Is it .00156) and the salesman said lease rates are usually in the mid 11 area which seems really high to me. The lease rate for a Fusion would be 2.25. This is for a 39 month lease with a $1500 Z Plan rebate going towards the initial down payment. Residual value is 54% or $15,020. Monthly payments would be about $381 per month. Everything seems ok to me, other than the lease rate. Am I crazy, or is this high? I know I shouldn't be complaining because of the Z Plan goodness, but I'm wondering if different dealers handle Z Plans differently. Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks, Alex :) :)
There was no market adjustment here in Fairfax VA, but they initially wanted the sticker price. After an hour or so we came out to $16,300 OTD (after $500 college grad rebate).
