Car_man - Current Edge Lease Info Please
by baggs32 on Sun Jun 01 18:54:23 PDT 2008
Hi Car man, We're looking for the lease info on a 2008 Edge SEL or Limited in the Pittsburgh, PA area. We can do 10,500 miles per year for 24, 36, or 39 months. MSRP of the Limited we like is $36,140 and we have not negotiated a price yet. We're still in the info gathering phase so if you can give us an idea of a monthly payment it would be appreciated too. $34,965 is the MSRP of the SEL we like if that helps any.

I bought a 2006 Redfire GT Premium on 8/24, the first day of the 0%. Wow! What an awesome car! Black leather interior IUP - satin silver 18" "Fanblade" wheels Shaker1000 Side air bags Wheel locks Active alarm system Manual transmission Sticker - $30,345 X-Plan price - $28,064 $411 per month after 0% for 72 months and TTL (no other fees are charged with X-Plan). I originally planned on ordering an '07 in March but this deal saved me about $140 per month assuming Ford doesn't offer 0% or some large rebate on an '07 Mustang in March. I highly doubt that will happen. Plus I got a couple of options I wouldn't have ordered due to price so I'm a very, very happy new Mustang owner! It's my first one and I've been waiting a long, long time for it. :D

Thanks again Car_man. You're numbers were a little late but they do match the deal we got. ;) Residuals of 50% on an '06 XLT and I don't remember the rate exactly but it was in line with the 3.75% you mentioned. Our terms were 39 months with 10,500 miles per year. All that matters now is that we were happy with the deal and so was the salesman.

Car_man, I talked to my salesman and he's giving me a residual of .43 and a rate of 4.5% which makes my payments much higher than what you came up with. Is he giving me the run around? Would you be able to tell me what rate and residual you used for the calculations on an EB in post #100 and those for an XLT and Limited too? Thanks again!

Thanks a bunch Car_man! We just had our second child about a week ago and I'm toying with upgrading to something bigger than our Escape. I've driven the new Explorer EB and it really is pretty darn nice. Now I just have to convince the wife.
