Got my 09 this week - Sweet little truck!: by baraboodad on Sat Aug 30 21:36:05 PDT 2008; Got my white suede loaded Limited I4 09 Escape. Great little truck! Seat feels good to drive in, and tons of buttons to play with, I mean use! Plenty of power to merge on to freeway or get in front of trouble, etc. Didn't get the pretty but expensive Nav system. But the Voice Sync controls work great anyway. Linked my phone to Sync in less than 30 seconds, works great. Now I never even take my phone out of my pocket to make and receive calls. Love the Audiophile sound system, too! Koenecke Ford in Reedsburg, WI did a really good job of getting it for us. I just replaced the front factory speakers with some Infinity Reference. Much better Highs and Bass. Only cost about $200 installed at Best Buy. As we all know the Factory radio (09 FEH Limited) does not have the "depth" that the Mach had. My stereo guy said it has the power but no sub. I'm fine with the new front speakers. No place fo a sub woffer btw. Where should I post the Pic's? Regards,

Our deal (SEL FWD): by brian_in_md on Tue Aug 12 08:08:14 PDT 2008; We just picked up an 08' Taurus X SEL FWD, with leather, SYNC, SEL Interior Convenience and Power Packages, 50/50 3rd row, and Sirius for $26,400 inc freight - about $2k under invoice. (I would have received an additional $500 off if I had used Ford Credit, but got a better rate elsewhere.) (Dealer was Apple Ford in Columbia, MD. Nice people to deal with, although still a little pushy on all the high-profit dealer add-ons like undercoating, paint protection etc.)

Just bought an 09 Escape 4WD I4 XLT: by baraboodad on Fri Aug 08 18:15:27 PDT 2008; Nice little truck, plenty of power now with bigger engine. Quiet and smooth riding. Comfortable seats, good stereo, good mileage in city driving for test drive (test drive was a 2WD, got 22.6mpg with A/C on). Was about $25,500 before $500 rebate/trade-in etc. Can't wait for the one I'm actually buying to be here and ready for me in 3 days. (Was on a different lot in the state).

08 Edge AWD Limited: by vang on Fri Jul 25 10:55:27 PDT 2008; We're are going to start shopping for an 08 Edge AWD Limited (Black/Camel) with vista roof, hitch prep, A/W mats, cargo management, and power liftgate. Toronto based and hope to find the right deal in NY (Albany) and bring it home. Will travel further if the deal warrants it. Any feedback on cash price we should start at and then expect to pay is appreciated. Van G
