Fusion Hybrid Prices Paid - Raleigh, NC
by d2la on Tue Jun 02 12:19:38 PDT 2009
I just placed an order for a Fusion Hybrid with the 502A package (loaded with everything but remote start) for $29,782.23 under the Ford Partners X-Plan. Taxes (3% in NC) and title ($74) were additional. I was surprised the dealer accepted X-Plan pricing, but because it was an order, and didn't come out of their allocation, they were fine with it. I was told that orders made before June 9 would be given build priority over dealer allocations.
2009 Escape Hybrid Order Delays
by dukeguy1 on Sat Sep 13 20:00:04 PDT 2008
I ordered an 09 Escape Hybrid on May 14, 2008. I was told that since the dealership where I ordered my escape hybrid was one of the Southeast's largest volume sellers dealership, I should expect my escape hybrid in September. Well, September is here and no Escape... Long story short, after many conversations with my high volume dealer, I was told to expect my escape hybrid at the end of November 08... Days later, the sales manager told me that my order has been pushed back to January 09. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone else been given the run-around about delivery? The ford dealership is located in Raleigh NC... Any suggestions?
Dealerships honoring X-plan pricing
by vdepuy on Tue Jun 03 09:31:07 PDT 2008
I'm trying to place an order for a 2009 FEHL using X-plan pricing but having the worst time getting a dealership to honor that pricing. I've had multiple dealerships say they wouldn't, and 3 to date say that they would and then back out when I went to order. 2 of them said the dealership/management had changed their mind, and one (Hendersonville, NC) said they wouldn't because I wasn't "local". I have the name of one dealership which should honor X-plan on the FEH/FEHL but it's 12 hours away (Michigan; I'm near Raleigh, NC). I know multiple people here have successfully ordered 09 FEHs via X-plan; would you be willing to post the dealership name and location? I'd like to find somewhere closer to order from; virtually everything from Orlando to western Kentucky to NYC is within a 12 hour drive, so there should be at least a few willing dealerships closer by. Thanks in advance!

I've kept an eye(via internet) on southeast Va and northeast/Raleigh NC dealer inventory for the 500 and frankly they are barely moving. Maybe 8 sold over the last four months! Dealers quickly subtract 2000.00 from sticker and subtract the 1000.00 rebate and maybe you'll qualify for 0.0%. Not a lot off a 30,000.00 FWD 200hp Megatuarus that bases for 18,000.00 to 22,000. I agree with the post that the salespeople/dealers are wanting to ignore reality no flotilla of vessels and sailors savings are on their way back to cure them presently. I say 0.0 percent over 5 years and "x" plan style pricing by all American automakers. The trusty American auto buyers who have supported the Big Three in years past, for once need a "bailout".

There are no more 06 Five Hundreds in Production. The model year was cut short by four months. 2007's began rolling off with a couple new paint colors, bright grilles on all, and chrome rim option to dealers in Raleigh and Charlotte NC with more coming. Lots of 06's especially Limiteds I dont need a more powerful engine and dont like to burn more gas. So I am not going to wait for the 2008 model. Couple of follow-up questions: 1) Did Ford raise the prices on the 2007 models? 2) Ignoring the color/cosmetic differences, did Ford make any improvements to the 2007 model? Any changes to the chassis or body?

Lots of 06's especially Limiteds. At this stage 0.0% plus a thousand dollar rebate and 10% off sticker is not unreasonable. Do a search dealer inventory and don't be afraid to drive a couple hours away to get what YOU want! Of course buying a 2007 in June 2006 will depreciate quicker than a store bought steak overlooked in the trunk your car. Especially when 2008 Duratech 35 powered/6f tranny blows the doors open next Spring! Hope that hot blonde in the red velvet dress shows up with a can of "Foamy" to go with that Mach III grill and those LED/HiD tail/head/fog lamps! It's times like this when procrastination is good. I also will attempt to make a deal on an 06 before the end of June.
