I have an '04 ZTS, which is not as hard nosed as the SVT, and because of the 2.3 motor which is recommended ( was only available for about 2 model years in limited parts of the country) has a still a lot of spunk or torque which continues to surprize. If you get a used model make sure that it has been regularly serviced. Auto trans should have been serviced at 30-40,000

Ford Edge SEL (FWD) - need info for my parents: by njbloke on Wed Jun 18 10:54:15 PDT 2008; My parents are interested in leasing a 2008 Ford Edge SEL - no options. The MSRP is 29,020 with destination, and the invoice is 25,076 (inc. the 2K cash back). Are there any other incentives in the NY/NJ region, and should they aim for a price of less then the 25,076? Please advise what the residual and money factor are for a 3 year, 36K mile lease. if you know July's rates that would be helpful too. They are getting quotes of around 410/month (all-in), but I believe this seems high compared to what I've read on this forum. Thanks again...

FX4 Lease Offer: by jpcarter on Sat Jun 14 12:13:36 PDT 2008; Hi, just left the dealer with this offer: FX4, sticker price $40,690 - purchase price $34,000 / $2,500 down $343.24 per month / 24 months-- they will also throw in bedliner ($216) They are telling me the money factor is 1%, Residual is .57, 10,500 miles a year, For some odd reason they are using $41,385 as the MSRP to figure the residual...has to do with a $695 discount on the sticker for captian's chair??? From looking at the papers it looks like the $2,500 included the first month's payment. Can you let me know if this is a good deal. I feel there should be a little more of a discount but they insist this is the bottom line..... Thanks for your help. I am in central NY

Maybe a local news channel can air your situation and thereby bring the local media in. Ford, I�m sure would not like that type of exposure and with sales low at this time ( which probably brought this about) might come to your side. I hope there was another individual who witness the various verbal conversations you had with this WI dealer. Speaking about dealers, if there is an employee out there who is reading these posts and works for a Ford Dealership, I would hope that you might speak up and give some guidance to this individual and help bring fairness to this heart breaking situation. Bought it in Wisconsin and drove it home to Buffalo, NY. :shades: I know for my zip code Ford was offering either $2500 rebate or zero percent financing for 72 months. I don't think Ford was offering that in WI. But it is irrelavant as the dealer has to use your actual zip code which you already know.
