Re: 2010 Mariner Premier [explorerx4] by normkol on Thu Jan 14 09:52:37 PST 2010

I also was geting 19mpg on the old. So far, on the new I'm getting about 20, but it has less than 1,000 miles so it should improve. Do you notice the climate control staying on high for too long and then blowing cold air to compensate? It's weird. My Honda Pilot stays on high for just about 5 minutes and then blows warm air at low fan speed.

2010 Mariner Premier by normkol on Wed Dec 30 17:50:39 PST 2009

Boy, is this forum quiet! I just picked up a new Mariner Premier. 202A package and V-6. The 202A has moon & tune, automatic temp control, cargo package, and reverse sensing. List 30,010, I trade in my '02 Tribute. After the 2,000 cash back from Ford, I paid 23,000. Quite a difference from the 02. The new v6 is more powerful and quieter. I'm just beginning to learn all the electronic gimmicks.

Re: difference between Escape and Tribute [dudette3] by normkol on Fri Mar 09 06:51:29 PST 2007

In the past, the Tribute had a tighter suspension, a little firmer ride but better handling. For the new 2008's, it's too early for any road tests.

Almost bought a Fusion I4 SE by luvmbooty on Wed Aug 30 19:57:01 PDT 2006

Sent faxes and e-mails to 20 different dealers in my area. One quoted at $18,150 with automatic transmission, safety and security package, ABS, and SE Sport package. I wanted the 0% financing for 72 months. Quote went up to $19,150 because rebate isn't offered with financing. After NY State tax if figured I'd pay $274 a month. I let it go. I feel I let a good deal go. What other manufacturer besides Ford has offered 0% for 72 months? How often does it happen?
