Re: NOrtheast Region Lease Rates [ny_joe1101] by peet1 on Tue Dec 29 21:34:52 PST 2009

In Chicago western suburbs, 7.25% tax rate... a supposed 52% residual (12k miles, 27 months) 0.25% rate Same config (AWD, Limited, 302A) Was quoted $578/month AND, I have an Xplan PIN to boot. What is going on? Doing a "build and configure" on the Ford site, at MSRP which is what their system is using I get only as high as $478. Even adding in my local taxes $578 is way off base and I am doing the cap price using Xplan. To top things off, there is $2750 red carpet lease money available somewhere. Please help - time is running out, all these programs wrap up 1/4. Thanks!

PLEASE TELL ME GOOD DEAL ON FORD EDGE LEASE by cindystar on Thu Mar 13 23:03:31 PDT 2008

The '08 EDGE I am looking at has a sticker of $38755 I would like to lease it for 39 OR 24months at 12k/year. What (with 3000 OOP) should I expect to pay per month after negotiating a price? Also, after a price is negotiated how (based on Ford's current lease rates) do you determine the exact lease price? Thank you! I'm planning on leasing one this week. ALSO HAVE X PIN AND TRADE OF ANOTHER MAKE CAUSE I THINK THEY GIVE YOU 1000 FOR TRADEANY OTHER MAKE

What else really sets the Edge apart from the competition besides the Vista Roof? IT IS THE MAJOR SELLING POINT. GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND SEE HOW MUCH THEY PROMOTE IT AS THE MAIN FEATURE OF THIS VEHICLE. I don't really see any reason to not get it aside from personal taste. But, I don't think living in a city makes a difference either way. By the way, I live in a city of 300,000+ people. Contrary to most NY/NJ peoples' way of thinking, Nebraska isn't a giant farm with 4 families like Little House On the Prarie. If you don't want the Vista Roof, fine. I was just giving my opinion on it SINCE I OWN ONE. If the Edge you get doesn't have the Vista Roof you will probably have at least one person per week ask you if it has "THAT GIANT SUNROOF THINGY" so you might as well get it.

HELP ME OUT HERE? by hilliergroup on Tue Mar 13 17:08:14 PDT 2007

THIS IS THE INFORMATION (E-MAIL) I GOT FROM AN UPSTATE NY FORD DEALER ABOUT A 2007 FORD EXPEDITION XLT 4WD LOADED. "YOUR PAYMENTSFOR A 36 MONTH/36000 MILE LEASE WITH AN X PLAN (HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER WILLING TO GIVE ME HER X PLAN OPTION) WOULD BE $464 PLUS TAX AND FEES. THE MSRP IS $39,115 AND YOUR RETAIL X PLAN PRICE WOULD BE $34,270.95. I HAVE ALWAYS LEASED A GM AND KNOW HOW THEY FIGURE LEASES. I GOT NO MORE INFO FROM THE DEALER THAN ABOVE. DOES IT SOUND OK? SHOULD IT BE LESS PER MONTH? I WANT TO PUT NOTHING DOWN, AND USE CASH FOR SALES TAX, AND FEES. ANY ADVICE. I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
