The dealer already had the one I wanted on order, so I am not sure how long it took. It is early as it was supposed to be here next week. I am so happy. I got it on the X plan. So HAPPY! Robert

Leasing a 2010 Fusion Hybrid
by fazworld on Mon Jul 20 04:04:49 PDT 2009
I have the same question as many other people. I live in the Washington DC area and am interested in leasing a 2010 Fusion Hybrid. From reading all the recent posts, it seems that leasing a Ford is harder than at other manufacturers. I am currently leasing a 07 BMW 335i with a sales price of around $45,000 / 15,000 miles for $557 a month. Are there any promotional deals right now? What can I expect the monthly lease cost to be for a Fusion Hybrid? Is gmoney's quote a comparable one (even though that sales price is cheaper than the Hybrid)? I would rather lease than purchase since I seem to grow tired of the same car after 3 years.

I did some online searching and do not mind taking a bit of a drive from here in central VA to save a few hundred bucks. My local dealer first said MSRP, and I then found a dealer in Columbia MD who was willing to go $300 under. Then after some more web surfing I found a dealer in Richmond VA who will go $1,000 under MSRP. I printed their web page out and took it to my local dealer, they agree to match it as I was about to take a drive to Richmond. For anyone near VA, the dealer in Richmond has 15 on the lot, just google "Sheehy Ford Richmond" and you will find their dealership and the FFH models currently in stock. There are 3 guys listed as the internet sales staff, I sent them an email inquiry on price and they were very prompt in getting back to me, so good luck!
Our deal (SEL FWD)
by brian_in_md on Tue Aug 12 08:08:14 PDT 2008
We just picked up an 08' Taurus X SEL FWD, with leather, SYNC, SEL Interior Convenience and Power Packages, 50/50 3rd row, and Sirius for $26,400 inc freight - about $2k under invoice. (I would have received an additional $500 off if I had used Ford Credit, but got a better rate elsewhere.) (Dealer was Apple Ford in Columbia, MD. Nice people to deal with, although still a little pushy on all the high-profit dealer add-ons like undercoating, paint protection etc.)
