Hi jonw27. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 Edge SEL AWD with 15,000 miles per year are 0.25% and 61%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are 3.0% and 54%, respectively. When negotiating your deal on this truck, make sure to take advantage of the $1,250 cash incentive that is currently available on leases of it. Hi Car_Man, We've just about narrowed our search down to the 2011 Edge SEL AWD. We're looking at a 15,000 mile year lease and are considering either 24 or 36 month terms depending on how the other numbers work out. Can you post the residual values, money factors and applicable incentives we should consider in determining the lease payment after negotiating the price? We're in the Hartford CT area. Many thanks for your help.
Car man, What are your thoughts on the following 36-month, 12k mile lease no-money down? 2011 Explorer XLT 202A pkg. plus sun/moon roof and navigation MSRP of $39,235 Sales price $37,860 Residual 57% Int. rate 2.5% thru FMC Mo. payment $596 (includes base payment @ $510 plus CT sales tax @ 6%/$34 and property tax @ $52) Upfronts: $566 first month payment, $595 acquisition, ~$250 for license/tags, $75 doc. fee
Sounds like you got a good deal, especially considering there are selling pretty well.
Sddreams, Congrats on the new Explorer. Mine is a few weeks away still. Your info is helpful. I'm in CT and awaiting a similar vehicle. Got the 2nd row buckets and dbl moon roof. All in including taxes and fees the car is $44200. How much should the 3 yr lease be with 12K miles and $1500 down? The dealership is saying I need $3000 up front to get lease to $595. Is that too much?
