Excellent service Tom Potter

On Friday, February 28 our 2004 E320 suddenly had no brakes as we were travelling south on 49th St. N. We were very lucky to be able to coast into a parking lot where we gained our composure and called Mercedes Benz Roadside Assistance. Thank goodness we weren't on 275. Within 20 minutes a tow truck was there and we were on our way to your dealership. I was aware of your dealership because last year I stopped in to get a bulb replaced on our ML350. We had been given your phone number by Roadside Assistance and when I called, it was after 6 p.m. and your service department was closed. We were informed by the very courteous and efficient tow truck operator that we could leave the key in the drop box. When we arrived at 6:30 Tom P. was still working in the Service Department and immediately helped us to fill out all of the forms, check over the car and discuss our options. There was absolutely no hesitation in his service even though it was after hours. He offered to drive us home to Pass-A-Grille if there were no courtesy cars available. Fantastic hospitality for two stranded Canadians. Tom did get a courtesy car for us to use for the weekend and took time to go over all of the features before we were on our way. On a scale of 1 to 10 Tom's service was definitely an 11. Before noon on Monday Tom called us with the news that our car was ready to go and the pump that had gone was under warranty so there was no charge for the repairs. The mechanic had noticed our wipers were a little worse for wear when he did the car inspection so I ordered a new set to be installed. Winter storms on our way to Florida from Northern Ontario had taken it's toll on the wipers as we had just had the car serviced in November at Sudbury Fine Cars. When we arrived to pick up the car Monday afternoon Tom showed us exactly what had been replaced and had the mechanic double check some moisture he noted. All was well. So, the bottom line is I would recommend your dealership and Tom P. to anyone needing service and I'm sure the same holds true for sales. As a matter of fact I have already recommended it to a couple from Connecticut who have a C Class. Thanks again Tom for the exceptional service. Best regards, Jon & Kerry Butler P.S.
