Excellent experience

I purchased my vehicle at Bert Smith Subaru recently, and it was an excellent experience. I worked with Certified Sales Consultant Jack Crenshaw. Jack was incredibly helpful – he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and very patient with my questions (and I had a lot of questions.) I came to the dealership on four different days to make my decision, and didn’t feel pushed – it was always a pleasant, welcoming experience that made me feel comfortable with the dealership. Jack also did a great job introducing me to the features of the vehicle to be sure I knew how it all worked before I drove off the lot, and has followed up since to check on how things are going with the vehicle. Once it came to the final business and contract, Business Manager Bill Gunnett was also very helpful with my questions and took the time to explain everything so I could make informed decisions. The facility was bright, airy, and clean, and the dealership is clearly customer-oriented. I got the sense that everyone there works together as a team, which is refreshing. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Bert Smith Subaru and working with Jack Crenshaw to do so. Many thanks!

Charles & Jared are the BEST!!! They worked miracles and have patience of saints. They both spent hours with me answering all of my questions. I would definitely recommend going to them to anyone and everyone. If you want it they got it and if they don't they will find it!!

Stellar Service - HONEST dealership!

I recently bought a 2015 Subaru Forester from Charles the Sales Manager. I hate buying cars worse than visits to the dentist! I find the process usually painful. My brand new car that I purchased from another dealership was stolen after owning it for one week! The experience was traumatic and I spent an entire MONTH going from dealership to dealership driving different cars and dealing with LOTS of car salesmen. Bert Smith Subaru was refreshing to say the least! From the moment I spoke with Charles on the phone the process was seamless. No high pressure sales tactics, no 'creative' math and more importantly no inflated 'sales' prices! I told them what I could afford and I was told a price and that is what I paid... it never varied. For the first time in my lifetime I can honestly say I ENJOYED the car buying process! Thank you Charles and my sister will be in town at the end of the month...we will be in to hopefully get her a car as well. Thank you for making me feel like 'family'.

Horrbile service, will not be returning

I had been looking for a new car for over a year. I had a reliable car and was in no rush. I found a make a model I had been interested in, and it was in my price range with my mileage range as well. I drove 45 min to come take a look at the car, spur of the moment kind of thing. I arrive at the dealership, spot the car and take a look. A salesman approaches me and I start asking him questions about the car. Service records, how long it has sat for etc.. I had noticed that they put front tires on but not backs, I asked why and I was told it didnt need back tires...Not to mention, they were 2 different types of tires.The gentleman wasnt very knowledgeable, I seemed to know more than him. Took the car for a test drive, fell in love with the car. It was somewhat close to closing time, they didnt rush me which was nice. They gave me a full tank of gas which was awesome and they told me I can come back and they will fill my tank again and do a full detail. They almost let me leave without adding the vehicle to my insurance policy! I sat in the parking lot after they left. I had to move to a different area so they can close up. During the first week or so I made a list of things that I had found with the car. Nothing to major but my tire was loosing 15psi of air every day, both of my key fabs were not working and my check engine light came on. I emailed the salesman to let him know what I had found and we made an appointment for service as well as the detail. I bought the car with 67,xxx miles on it, asked if they did an oil change, they said yes.. well the sticker said the oil needed to be changed at 68,000..How is it I have the car less than 1,000 miles and already have to do an oil change. Long story short, they tell me the check engine light was a old code..Light came back on, the tire was dryrotted, so much for not needing back tires. They replaced the tire, only after I complained. Get this, they put a different tire than what THEY put on the front. Now I have 3 different tires on the car. They fixed my 1 key fab. Came to pick up my car, I was told to bring the other key fab. It was broken inside, I was told that they ordered the part and will call me when the part comes in. Guess what... THEY NEVER CALLED ME!!! I am not going to go further but this is enough I think. Needles to say, I have taken their license plate advertisment off my car and I will never be returning to them again. I will not be recommending them either but only telling people about my horrible expierience. I purchased the car from James on the Subaru side and the service was done on the VW side. When I first reached out to the salesman James about the check engine light he had told me to go to a Pontiac Dealership....If I didnt know about cars I would be looking all over the place for a dealership that no longer exists!!! Oh, and to top it off, I reached out to the general manager and never heard back. I also went to their website to have someone contact me and the 2 people that would call me never did and one of them was the salesman that I had the issue with. I have made multiple attempts to reach out to them to make things right and have yet to hear anything. This is why I am rating them the way I am.

Easy Purchase

We recently bought a 2011 Subaru Legacy to replace a Subaru the was totaled in an accident my wife has several months prior. James B, the salesperson with whom we dealt, was very helpful and in no way pressured us to buy a car. The experience could hardly have been easier.

my new Subaru

This was the best and easiest purchase of a new car that I have ever had. Charles S and Jarrad S worked together with me and I was treated fairly,honestly and with respect from start to finish. I was also very impressed with how nice the detailers had the car ready to go when I picked it up. Great place to buy s great car.

Originally went to Bert Smith because they were the closest dealer. I figured I'd end up at one of the area's bigger dealers assuming they'd have better inventory and deals. Bert Smith thoroughly impressed me and there was no need to go anywhere else. They trucked in the exact car I wanted from another dealer and gave me an amazing deal. My salesman, Mike, was great. Not pushy at all and super honest and upfront about everything. Painless buying experience.

Excellent buying experience

I bought a 2014 Subaru Outback Limited 3 days ago. Jared, the sales manager, and Tony, the sales person I worked with, were professional and not at all pushy. I was very satisfied with both the price and with the buying process. Everything went smoothly and I expect to purchase another new Subaru from Bert Smith again in 5 or 6 years.
