READ REVIEW OF PENSACOLA HONDA DEALERSHIP SALES

This past weekend my husband and I went to the Honda dealership to price pre-owned Odysseys.
The salesperson was friendly, however he did not have the best deal for us in mind. First, he showed us two 2006 Odysseys that were essentially the exact same vehicle (style and mileage) however one was marked up $3,000 more than the other. He then explained that the only reason it was marked up more was because it was one of the manager's buddy's vehicles and he was upside down on it. So, they marked it up so the buddy wouldn't lose his ass! Around this time we left to think about the vans we saw.
Later the same day my husband went back in to have our trade-in appraised and to discuss the lesser of the two 2006 Odysseys. The lesser of the two had been sold earlier in the day. So, the salesperson said he would give us, "the deal of a lifetime" on the managers buddy's Odyssey (the one that was marked up an extra $3000 just so the owner of it wouldn't lose his ass). When all was said and done they offered us the Odyssey at $3,000 less-which means it would have been the same price as the cheaper van and they offered me $3,000 less for my trade-in than kbb and edmunds.com estimated it to be. I know you can almost never get the amount these sources estimate, but $3,000 less- come on! Pensacola Honda offered us the car in rough condition price, instead of good condition which the car is in. And above all does this salesperson remember telling us earlier in the day that the Odyssey was marked up an additional $3000 because of the buddy being upside down on it? Where is the "deal of lifetime"? Do they think we are idiots? I'm sorry but I take all of this as an insult and will never be doing business with Pensacola Honda.
