10/11/2007@ approx. 2pm my 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis overheated on I-75 south bound near Ocala, Fl. I had the auto towed to Ocala Lincoln Mercury,407 S. Magnolia Ave.Ocala, Fl.where the auto was released by the towing company at 330 pm. At approx. 345 pm. the dealerships service dept.notified me that the overheating problem was caused by a damaged intake manifold, and they assured me that the motor was fine.. I OKed the intake manifold replacement job at approx.4 pm.. At 515pm I was notified that the work was completed. At 526pm on 10/11/2007 I paid my bill $938.02!, left the dealership and drove approx. 100 miles home to Lakeland, Fl. parked in my driveway ,never to start my auto again. 10/14/2007 I had the auto towed to my local garage. 10/16/2007 the mechanic at the garage informed me that the autos motor had sustained extensive damage and would require $$$$$ to repair.
