Buying a car from a Dodge Car Dealer

MA Dodge Car Consumer Discussions

just purchased 2011 Crew v-8 by jfn1000 on Tue Nov 29 07:17:03 PST 2011

Last week I purchased a new leftover 2011 Durango Crew AWD w/v8 and several options including entry nav, trailer tow and sunroof, msrp $40,180, for $32,280 + ma sales tax 6.25% + $495 doc fee + $125 ma plates/registration. Doc fee is $100 - 200 higher than many dealers in my area near Boston, but the discount off msrp was better than others were offering on this trim level. 400 miles and so far, so good.

Re: Dodge Charger Lease Payment [Car_man] by jdifot on Sun Mar 05 16:40:29 PST 2006

Car_man, Quick question. I just signed up for a deal with a local dealer on a charger SE. MSRP $22,995, Payments of $275 per month, with $2775 down and $825 for aquisition registration and taxes, residual of $12,187. Am I getting a good deal? I have already paid $1,100 for the first month, aquisition, taxes, and registration but have not taken possesion of the vehicle. I believe I can still back put if I find a better deal. Your advise would be much appreciated.

INUKEU2/Everyone: Do the dealers not discount as much when you order the vehicle as opposed to picking one off the lot? Also, have you driven the automatic? How does it compare to the 5spd?

Will it be difficult for me to find the 4.7l V8 with the stick shift on dealer lots? Also, does anyone have the MOPAR aftermarket nav system installed in the 1500 quad cab? Thanks.
