I have not gone to the dealership yet because it is over 50+ miles away. Yes, it is a new leftover 07 model. Their website has 2 of the exact same vehicle on the lot. I am thinking $30,000 otd plus the $7000-$8000 rebate. Financing would be for the 22000-23000 range which I do not think is absurd. It is just difficult to price an '07 with the current tools available on the internet. I also have a trade that will be part of the deal. '05 Wrangler Unlimited w/ 14,000 miles in excellent condition. I am sure they can sell it certified used and recoup some of the discount they pass me. I am banking on a slumping economy, soaring gas prices, and a lack of consumer spending. Thanks for your help. Where did you check the price KBB, NADA, Edmunds TMV? I want to go into this armed to negotiate.
07 1500 SLT

Looking to get a real good deal on an '07 Ram Quad Cab 1500 SLT w/ Sprt package, Nav, Tow, Protection, Hemi, etc. MSRP is 41,500. Dealer offering $8000 in rebates. I think I can get an otd price before rebate to 30000-32500. Am I nuts? I really think you can play hardball with these trucks right now. Any help would be great. Thanks, :)

And here's the information quoted from the owner's manual. The 3.5L and 5.7L engines (with automatic transmission) are designed to meet all emissions regulations and provide satisfactory fuel economy and performance when using high-quality unleaded gasoline having an octane range of 87 to 89. The manufacturer recommends the use of 89 octane for optimum performance. The use of premium gasoline is not recommended, as it will not provide any benefit over regular gasoline in these engines.

I've read differing opinions, but I think it's 89 octane in the R/T auto and 91 octane in the R/T manual. But many have posted the 87 works fine in either, not on this forum but on another one. If anyone is interested in the link, shoot me an email, the addy is in my public profile.

As far as pricing goes, they are probably hungry to make a sale. You should get invoice minus at least the $3,000 incentive. Edmunds also indicates there is $400 trunk cash in every Dodge sold in 2008, so you might want to shoot for that as well. There aren't too many people willing to buy fully loaded V-8's right now from what I've seen. ;)
Charger RT
by vgx on Mon May 19 04:04:09 PDT 2008
Hello, Looking through this thread, it looks like the Charger RT money factor and residual were .00189 and 52% back in February for a 36 month lease with 10,500 miles per year. Have these numbers changed at all? I am in Central FL and thinking about working out a deal for an RT this month. Thanks!!
