Friends discount by slaphappy on Sat Mar 29 19:30:34 PDT 2008

Just bought my DC SXT today using the friends discount. I didn't have a number, I just saw the "Friends" price on the invoice and told the dealer I'd take it for that and they agreed. So you don't need a friends number to get the discount...just state that's the price you want...and I avoided the $75 program fee. (I probably could have haggled for a few hundred more I feel I got a fair deal): Here's the breakdown: DC SXT, L pkg w/dual screen DVD: MSRP $31,335 Friends discount -$2,585 Cash back -$2,000 Loyalty rebate -$750 Cost before TTL $26,000 Wonder how others are doing....please post your results!

Re: DaimlerChrysler HAS MANY minivan repeat customers?[ol06] by hansienna on Mon Aug 28 16:31:42 PDT 2006

My sister is a repeat buyer. My friend just got a 2006 GC SXT and traded in his 2000 GC LE and has now owned 4 DC minivans that also included a 1996 GC SE, and a 1988 Grand Voyager SE. A neighbor has a 1999 GC SE and owned 2 GC before that (I do not recall the years). Many people keep buying DC minivans after owning 2 or 3 earlier. I do NOT like my 2006 Sienna LE as well as my 2002 T&C LX even though the Sienna has more power and gets slightly better gas mileage.

Under $200/month, 0 down? by backy on Sat Mar 18 07:45:56 PST 2006

Has anyone seen a Grand Caravan SXT lease deal at less than $200/month, with 0 down? I am seeing some close to that in my town, e.g. $219/month, and several dealers are offering $99/month with $2990 down. I qualify for the DC partner program (1% under invoice) so that could shave a few bucks off. Does anyone know, if a leased car is totalled, what happens? Is the vehicle replaced with another or ??? btw, the dealers I talked to all mentioned the $425 disposition fee and made it sound like it was non-negotiable.

Re: Caravan crash test poor [temp409] by 97xpresso on Thu Mar 16 17:22:22 PST 2006

As other posters have stated: you can't test seatbelts by "jerking" on them. New DC vans also have 5 star rating. (2001 did not, but not because of seatbelt problems) Good luck with the Kia, I'm sure you will be reading/posting on their forums

SXT lease - $99/month by backy on Sun Feb 26 13:31:33 PST 2006

A local dealer is advertising a Grand Caravan lease for $99/month, $2995 + license + first payment + tax down, for 27 months. No security deposit. It is a SXT with no options, MSRP $27,830. It says "all rebates to dealer" and also that you must lease through DC Credit. This price seems too good to be true, since Dodge is running an ad on Edmunds.com for what sounds like the same kind of lease, but for $179/month. Anyone else see a deal comparable to this?
