First time I went to test drive the Optima, the salesman was terrific. Very friendly and informative. I initially told him I was only there to test drive and not to buy. He let me test drive and give him my thoughts. No pressure. Went to another KIA dealership, told him this could be your easiest sale. I just wanted your best price on the Optima and my trade in. I am not buying today but if they are good prices I will be back on Monday night to buy. Almost an hour later when I said good by he finally give the prices. At this point the price did not matter, I would not buy from them. Bob Dominick from Wilmington contacted me, informed him that I do not pay MSRP and will not take a beating on my trade in. He said to come in and lets talk. Went in and had the pleasure of working with James Smith. I mention that I hope my golf bag fits in the trunk. With out a hesitation he ask if I had the bag with me, I did so he said well lets go find out. James actually sat there and listen to me so he know what I was looking for and what was going to make me happy. Bottom line is I got a good price on the Optima & my trade in. Pricing is important to me but so is the person thats selling the car because he is the person that if I buy I will be dealing with until I get rid of the car. I can not say enough good things about James and the way he worked with me. In the past 10 years I have brought 3 brand new cars, James is the first person to follow up with me after the sale to thank me. If you want to buy a car and be treated with respect then go to KIA of Wilmington and ask for James Smith, you will not be sorry.
