onI've owned quite a few Subarus and Delaware Subaru was the closest Subaru dealer when I was ready to purchase another Subie. However, the service and management at Delaware Subaru nearly sent me to another brand. The salesman I dealt with was nice enough if not all that knowledgeable, but the manager was unbelievable arrogant, rude, untruthful and disrespectful. I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. The manager said he could do what I wanted, until the time to actually complete the purchase came. The trade in value verbally agreed was over $3,000 less, the price of the new vehicle verbally agreed to was much higher and when I questioned the reasons the manager told me I was "wasting his time". The only time wasted was mine. I thanked the manager for wasting my time and this enraged him. He told me I wouldn't find a better deal and that I would be back. I told him he was an [violative content deleted] and I would never be back. He actually ran across the showroom floor yelling at me that I was not welcome back in the dealership and to get out! I just laughed and continued to leave. I logged a complaint with the owners, but I wasn't valued as a customer because I wasn't going to purchase a car from them. I never received an apology which would have gone a long way. I[violative content deleted] The Manager's (Scott) actions were unacceptable for a car dealer or anyone involved with customer service.
