Hi, I want to share my experience at Carman Dodge New Castle, DE 19720. I went to Home Depot to have my Dodge Neon car key made and they told me that the key have chips that they can not make the key that I should take it to the dealers. This was on Thursday 01-24-08. Then on Friday 01-25-08, I took the car to Carman Dodge New Castle to have my key made. They told me that it is $95.00 to make only one key. I accepted and waited for a long while before I asked them for a ride home which they did later. Before I left the lady was telling me that they are having problem getting the key to start the car. Then I went home after 3 hrs nothing. So I called them and the lady was telling me that my has electrical problem that will cost $300.00. This problem is that they want to change the thing, then they will try to see if the key that they made will work. What a waste, I asked the lady why should I pay $300.00 when they are not sure of the cause. I said no that I am not going to pay that. I now demanded for my key and they said that I have to pay them $80.00 for the key that they made that will not work. I told them that all other store will not ask me to pay for key that will not start my car. I refused and they refused to give me my car key. I later paid the money to get my key back. I know that the Regional Director might read this. I want to say that Carman Dodge New Castle took advantage of me and forcefully took my $80.00 under duress. I will be calling the Director to report this. Thanks Francis
