New TL shopping experience with trade-in

onReceived a good price for a TL via email.
Sales people seemed nice until I stopped in to see them, then they started to pressure me on when I was buying a TL.
I said I needed the car outside appraised before I could answer that. The sales person asked "when was my last service done, what was done, who did it, how are the brakes, etc. The manager test drove my car and came back and said "when can I have the car"?
I said "you haven't even told me what you would give me for it yet".
Avons offer was 30% lower than the lowest of the other three offers I received from other dealers. I walked out of there very disappointed with them.

I understand you were disappointed with your appraisal experience. We train our sales staff to gather info about the trade from the customer- since usually they know their own car the best. Along with test driving and other resources- we feel this helps us make a fair market assessment. We are sorry we could not agree on the appraisal amount and hope your car shopping goes well.
