Pleasant salesman beware of financing

by toyluvrs on 07/26/2018

We appreciate Aaron's help in selecting the Highlander we liked best. Very pleasant and helpful. In financing I noticed a % rate that I questioned as I was sure it was higher than I would be able to get from the institution that had the lien on our trade. My wife asked if he had checked that institution and he told us his rate was the best we could get. After getting home & thinking about it I applied for a re-fi from our previous lender and have been accepted and will be paying off the loan we got for a considerably lower rate. Despite the time and inconvenience involved in the re-fi the long term savings very well justifies it. I don't see any good reviews about this dealer and now I'm somewhat fearful to go there for service and there are no reviews for it. If you go to this dealership I recommend doing your homework about finance rates and trade-in value of your trade.

Take your business elsewhere

by Tundra57 on 01/27/2016

I purchased a used Toyota Tundra from Pueblo Toyota in early Jan 2016. The Internet price was low enough for me to make the trip from Denver. The dealer installed a new set of tires before showing the truck and advertised it as such. We settled on a price that was only $500 less than their advertised price. I paid cash yet somehow the paperwork still took hours. I found out the day after taking possession that they installed the wrong size tires. I promptly notified them the next business day of their error thinking it was an honest mistake and it would be no big deal to swap out the tires. After countless attempts and discussions with the salesman and the customer relations manager the dealership flat out refused to replace the tires or try and make any attempt towards a resolution. Let me be clear that the truck had stock wheels and the tire size is not one of the alternative sizes. I called Toyota National Customer Relations and they contacted the dealer requesting the dealer work with me to replace the tires with the recommended size. Pueblo Toyota never called back. This is a Toyota dealership that doesn't know their product line, or knowingly installed the incorrect size and certainly doesn't care about their customers after the deal is done. Furthermore, they ignored Toyota Motors. Let me repeat that because I feel it needs repeating; they refused to listen to the company they represent. Toyota Motors unfortunately said they could not help me if the dealership refused. If you are in the market for a new car I would highly advise you steer clear of Pueblo Toyota and take your business anywhere else because if you have any issues with your car you're going to regret dealing with terrible customer service.

Worst Car buying experience

by matt81212 on 01/17/2015

Came in with a pre approval from my credit union. Was badgered for a re run of my credit report. Not willing to negotiate price. Lowballed on trade in. Was sold a warranty that I did not need, and was not told about it until walked in to the sign the contract. I looked at several dealerships before I decided to visit Peublo Toyota. Read all the reviews and it seemed to be a good fit. The vehicle I purchased was in the price range after comparing differant dealerships. Just surprised that they were not willing to budge on the price. Horrible car buying experience ever. Will not recommended for sales or service.

Stay away at all cost

by Emergencymed on 01/06/2015

We bought a car from this dealership. Supposed to be 11,000. After everything is signed adding up the payments, they say we owe 17,000!! Not only did they screw us, they screwed her sister as well. Also payments don't reflect the signed paperwork. When we tried to work it all out, no one will answer questions. They also snuck in an extended warranty that we never signed for. What do you know. Do not go to this dealership. Go down the street to anyone else. I've purchased cars in the past and never had this problem anywhere else.

STAY AWAY. VERY BAD PEOPLE

by unreal1 on 09/16/2014

We went looking for a car. Got sweet talked into buying one. We had one to trade in. We had agreed on a price and when we got to signing the papers they had lowered the price of the trade in by over $1000 AND charged $900 over the advertised internet price. Used some B.S. about the market price for it. By the time it was all said and done we ended 'giving' them the car. If we hadn't needed one so bad and had more time I'd run for the hills. REALLY, IF THEY'RE NOT HOLDING A GUY TO YOUR HEAD, GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. They really give used car salesmen and lots a bad name! By the way, now my car is at another lot for $5000 when they gave me for it.
