Tried to buy a new brand new car here through the Volvo Overseas Delivery program. Took them days to get back to me with an answer to any of my questions. Instead I bought the car through an Overseas Delivery Specialist in California. They answered my questions within an hour via email or immediately when on the phone. I had the car delivered here since I live in Colorado after my European adventure. They couldn't understand why I wouldn't buy the car there. As it turned out a part on the car was broken when I picked it up in Europe. They said no problem ordered the part and set up an appointment to have it installed. It would be covered under the warranty. Week later I drop off the car in the morning, everything looks great. Guy says this is a warranty repair no problem. Later in the day I get a call that the work is done. Unfortunately, it won't be covered under the warranty. But the work is already done so you owe us money. I explained I was told it was warranty work and would not have done it otherwise and that the part was broken at pick up. They said okay we will submit the warranty claim but it may come back. Come pick up your car no charge. I arrive to pick up my car and I am presented with a bill. I explain it should be warranty service as I was told when I made the appointment and when I dropped off the car earlier that day. Not to mention I was told I could pick up the car today, no problem. I refused to pay and the service employee went to get the manager. Five minutes later the employee returns and says the manager agreed to take care of it. No charge. I have been there three times, every time has been utterly painful. Don't give them your money. You will get nothing in return. What ever happened to customer service?
