I purchased a vehicle from the Sill-TerHar Jaguar division 2 years ago. Recently I paid them a visit because my engine was making strange noises. I called in and asked about my warranty information, however, the guy on the other line had no definite answer. Ok, so I drove there myself on day after work hoping that they would tell me what is going on. Somehow people at Sill-TerHar told me to go to the Mazda division, so I did. Well, first of all, the layout of the compound was super complicated and no one was there. The sales people seemed bored out of their minds and when I finally found the service department, they looked at me like, "Who the hell are you?" So I told this guy, Clark, that I have called earlier as well as restated my problem. Clark sends this other grumpy [violative content deleted] looking man with me to go outside, and the whole time he was complaining how he didn't want to go and that it was cold out. I never really dealt with people from Mazda dealership before but boy o boy, these people were miserable. So the [violative content deleted] guy looked at my engine and as if he's equipped with x-ray pupils, he immediately decided that nothing was wrong with it. I was surprised at his amazing ability to diagnose mechanical problems so I asked him what other things he could do to make sure nothing was wrong. At this time, he was already half way between the building and my car, walking back. He grunted some vague responses and we were back at inside. [violative content deleted] told Clark that nothing was wrong with my car so I proceeded to ask Clark about my warranty information. Well, he said there was no way for him to find out. At this point I pretty much just half expected him to tell me that he actually doesn't work there, he's actually the janitor next door. So his response did not surprise me at all. However, he did ask my name, I told him. After he typed it into the 20-year-old computer he read out the model of my car and my even the name of my sales person. All in all, that was a total waste of my time and I'm sure, the time of Clark and [violative content deleted]. I feel bad for going there not only because I witnessed the reason why Mazda brand is going to be killed off, but more importantly, the people that are causing this scenario to occur. I do not feel bad, however, for the people working there simply because it was easy to see that they have been digging their own graves for quite some time. And my words of advise to you is, just avoid Sill-TerHar as a whole. They are simply too broad and there is no way to specialize in one area when you got Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Volvo, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda. The bottom line is, don't expect them to offer any help, because that is just out of their skill level.
