OK,, so it's $13,826 off...... when I bought mine.....they made me borrow at least $10K....otherwise they were going to tack on another $1K also........so my final deal was $10 Cash + $10K loan + 2003 Alero strippo (ecotec 5spd..not even power windows / about 80K miles / bondo job where I opened it up like a tin can with zero radius lawn mower / dent in trunk (axe), dent in roof (fell off latter in garage / broke rib).....I doubt I could have sold it for $3K......so I figure it cost me $23K......sticker was just shy of $36K......Sales tax etc was separate issue back in my own state of Kansas. I thought it was the deal of the century?????? So, you thinking about buying one from Lee's Summit? I think the remaining stock there are all automatics......If so, tell Kim....Chris L. sent ya.

Even if you lose 4000,,it is definetely worth it .Chrysler minivans are so inferior compared to Honda or Toyota. I drove all 3 of them and the difference was so obvious right from the drive to the interior. You probably would lose 4k but its OK,,,bcos if you wait 1 or 2 more years you wont even get 50% of the value of the trade. They have horrible resale values. Also they have lots of minor nagging problems. If you absolutely want a new one,,,go in for a toyota. It`s quieter than the Honda. But test drive both before making a choice as it comes down to personal preference. You won`t go wrong with either. If you dont mind used cars,,I would suggest you go in for for a 1 or 2 year old toyota/honda bcos that way you wont lose a lot of money for a very low mileage used car.You could get a loaded version too instead of just the base no frill models. Hope this helps.

$29,000 sounds close for a $39,000 MSRP. You could probably do better, but it sounds like a good place to begin haggling. If the car sits on the lot much longer (and it may), then the price should drop accordingly. It seems like a buyer's market these days, and could be for some time. If you keep the car 7 years, then the steep depreciation shouldn't matter. The steep part of the curve would be at the beginning. When the car is 7 years old with 150,000 miles, then it will be worth about the same as similar 7 year old cars. Our Pacifica seems OK so far (it's pretty new though), but folks I know have had good luck with theirs (older models with the 3.5L/4 Speed Automatic). You can't beat the lifetime powertrain warranty. Of course, if Chrysler folds, then the warranty doesn't matter, but that seems highly unlikely. Worst-case, someone will buy Chrysler (it's happened before). When Daimler merged with Chrysler and eventually took over, the Chrysler warranties didn't disappear. They were just passed along as liabilities and honored by Daimler.

Help! I'm a first-time car buyer (I usually lease) in Miami, FL and want to make sure I'm getting a good deal. I'm supposed to go in tomorrow and do the paperwork, but I wanted to check with the knowledgeable people here before going ahead with it. 2008 Town & Country Touring Signature List Price......$33090 Being Offered at......$23924 plus tax and tag. Is this a good deal? It seems OK to me, but then again I don't know much about this kind of thing Please help!! Jennifer Seems like a good deal, 27.5% discount off MSRP isn't too shabby. But, it doesn't hurt to try to negotiate some more. See if they can give you 30% or more off MSRP or let 23924 be what you pay OTD (includes taxes & dmv fees). It's your call.

Did you drive down for the car? To me, it's just hearsay unless there's a viable proof (contract or email w/ the breakdown of the price). I know I did the same thing when I bought the van. I told the salesman, you have until 5:30 pm to make me an offer that I like or don't call me back. He called back @ 5 and said "OK, we'll give the car for the price you want." Granted, when I came in, it was 2 cents more! The salesman said he'd give me the 2 cents..
