NADA Values

The residual value on my lease (22 months left) is $21,500 compared to the NADA current trade-in value of $23,000. Chrysler Financial is going to take a real bath when I turn in the car! I am happy to let them take the hit while I enjoy my (their) Pacifica.

I bought my Pacifica at the end of June for $1500 under invoice with about $1300 worth of Mopar accessories thrown in. I like doing part of a deal with accessories because I would have paid full retail but the dealership is only out half that amount and it makes both of us feel pretty good. The value for my trade was just OK but I was glad to unload that crappy Mitsubishi! My Pacifica already had the full sized spare but I was able to work the cargo group into my accessory list. That was pretty straight forward though and I know some factory options just aren't available after the fact. My guess is that the space designed for the spare tire can accommodate either size. I've put about 3,000 miles on now and have been very pleased. I was able to load about 10 hours of DVDs in the changer for the kids on our vacation and it was smooth sailing! Anyway, if anyone thinks the Pacifica is over priced (it's not) then they ought price out a Toureg...

Ruski - My bank here in Indiana has a 72 month loan at 5.87% APR and a special on 60 months at 4.9% APR. If you have good credit I wouldn't mess around with 10%!

$30K probably won't get it but you may be able to finish a deal around $33K or $34K. Good luck.

Were those lease parameters available in June?
Residual
by boiler1 on Tue Jul 22 08:12:45 PDT 2003
You should expect to see a residual of 53% of MSRP for a 36 month, 15,000 mile per year lease from Chrysler Financial as long as the car has 500 or fewer miles on the odo. Money factor should be about .0026 (6.25%). Most likely will have an acquisition fee of $550, security deposit of about one months payment and the first payment due at contract signing. If you roll these into the lease the acquisition fee goes up so it's better to just write the check up front.
