I have leased many cars since 1969 & find that they are only a "good deal" when you drive a min. of 25,00 miles per year or more. The 12,000 mile lease is like a trap to get you to buy the car at the end of the lease. If your credit is good then you should be able to get a lot lower rate than 6.9%. I bought my '05 Pacifica Signature Touring model for zero down & zero% for 48 months thru Chrysler. After you buy the car at the end of the lease you will have to keep it another 3 to 4 years to come out even as the value starts to go down fast after 36 months. In my case, the value of the Pacifica will be greater than I owe after 35 to 38 months which will be the time for me to trade it in for a new one. My average yearly milage is now between 13-15K so it will have less than 48K when I trade & that is considered a plus.
